I opened a few threads during Christmas explaining he Venezuelan situation and as you all saw, it all pretty much came true and Maduro was taken out. But as I somehow feared, the reality is that, nothing has changed. It is sad but it is what it is. They simply chanded Maduro for Delcy but for the everyday man, Venezuela is as dangerous as it was before.

>Why did you decide to move?
My father's life was threatened a couple of times and he got us all the Spanish passports and my parents, my broher, my brother's gf and me finally moved to Spain about one year ago.

The beginning was pretty hard. It took me like 3 or 4 weeks not to get all worked up everytime I head the sound of a motorbike. My mother barely lives the house. I guess that's what ptsd is. And for the first months we all lived off my father's savings but thank God, I got a job, working construction, and my brother also got a job, so now at least we're able to pay rent and have a humble life.
>>
Good now you work for "them" here, you steal our jobs and our house, and they don´t attack you anymore.
You can gaslight the local polulation.
Europe is the best place in the world, I feel secure.
>>
>>534177247
the problem is venezuelans
>>
>>534177622
First of all, I don't steal anything. Secondly, if I my father had a Spanish passport is because we have Spanish ancestors. I'm not talking about some dudes that arrived in 1492, my great grandfather was born in Spain. As my father likes to say, we simply came back home.

In anycase, why are you so hostile? It's weird that someone from Switzerland has such a reaction towards a dude that moved to Spain.

Can you get the fuck out of europe wetback? please & thank you

Welcome back anon. It is sad nothing has changed in Venezuela. Do you see anything that could happen in the near future that could make the country change its course for the better?
>>
>>534177247
I remember you. MANY people asked how could your father afford 5 flight tickets from Venezuela to Madrid? You're always larping as the poor dude that suffers a lot. 5 flight tickets plus all the money you guys had to spend on rent and good until you guys GOT a job in Madrid. How could you all afford that?

I think you being from the US can't really understand what Hispanicism really means. We are a different civilization, more the 700 million people. You should read Dugin to try to understand the world. The same way you have Russia, China and the Angloworld, there is a hispanic world different to everything else formed by +700 million people (we're not even counting the Portuguese side, some guys like Armesilla believe in the Iberophonian civilization).

My father always said "we've come back home". And now that I'm here, I really feel it. Not even once I've felt any kind of xenophobia or racism. Everybody has treated me like if I had been born here. I've finally understood what being hispanic is.

>Welcome back anon. It is sad nothing has changed in Venezuela. Do you see anything that could happen in the near future that could make the country change its course for the better?
Thank you, brother, for the question. What is happening and that is one of my biggest fears is that the situation becomes stagnant and nothing really changes. The previous government (doesn't make much sense saying this because it's the same government but whatever) was shitting bricks about US whacking them all. So they basically betrayed Maduro. They said, okay, daddy Trump, here you have Maduro and our oil. Just leave us be.

So the money from the oil will never reach the population and Venezuela will continue being like Mad Max The Caribbean Version. It still is on the top 3 of most dangerous countries in the world.

As I said on the other threads, just being able to take a walk at night without fearing for your life, sitting down at some terrace bar and having a laugh with some friends, basic things like those, it's like a gift from God. People should really appreciate these little things

The only things Venezuelans know how to do are steal, extort, and engage in informal trade

I remember you and that you cant explain why Maduro or Chavez were bad. You say they were bad for you and your family, but cant say why.
This is like the basic stuff you have to say at an asylum interview

Venezuelan society simply don’t like working and want everything cheap or free, and then someone came along saying what they wanted to hear.
>>
>>534180325
The book basically said something like that but with a more polite wording
>>
>>534180325
People work when they have to, it isnt a matter of liking it. Odd exception are the germans, who get anxiety when they dont work
>>
>>534180401
Money in Venezuela doesnt come from working, it comes from oil, which belongs to the state and you have to get connections to get a share. Before oil, it was agriculture, and land was gotten by supporting the right side in the latest civil war, which date to independence. Before independence, wealth came also from agriculture, which relied on the spanisg crown giving land concessions to nobles and conquistadors. Working has never been a path to wealth in Venezuela, its just having a claim on natural resources. Its the only reason Columbus disembarked in Venezuela, he saw indians with pearls, so he founded a settlement to exploit the pearls, with indians doing the work.

Are you Finnish? You always go all hostile on all threads, the same Finnish flag always posts on all hispanic threads. Where are you from, my friend?
>>
>>534180005
I didn't know what book but I'll check it out. We hit rock bottom during those days when we even had food shortages, you might remember it, it was even hard to get basic things. But the current state is our real state and sadly, I think nothing is gonna improve.

>>
>>534179064
I don't know what's so weird about it. My father has worked all his life and he always feared Venezuela would turn into something like Mad Max The Caribbean Version. He got threatened a couple of times and last time it happened to him something clicked in his brain and decided to take us all to Spain or as he always said, back home.

You are 1/8th spaniard. Whats the other 7/8th?

It's okay, glad you are safe. In Europe basic fundamentals still work. I wish our government would do stuff for those with polish ancestry stuck in southern america. Probably 2-3 million people with Polish ancestry in Southern america.
>>
>>534181736
Before the increase in Venezuelan migration, there were at most a few isolated cases of robbery or nighttime violence in unsafe areas, but these were individual incidents rather than organized criminal groups operating frequently and in broad daylight

The Trump doctrine in that region is you can do whatever as long as you swear fealty to the US and send resources. My fear is it's a time-bomb where, at some point, the country may fall into civil war and the US will intervene on behalf of a faction or after the Iran debacle just sit it out
>>
>>534183389
Thank you, brother

>>534183970
The US has and will always hate hispanics. They will never leave us alone.
>>
>>534183851
People from the neighboring countries got the worst of Venezuela.
They're the people who are too poor to afford going to the US/Spain.
It's so bad that now Venezuela has a lower criminality rate because that people are out.
Or so has told me a friend from Colombia

When I say my great grand father was Spanish I say that because I can prove it with official documents, that's why I got the Spanish passport and I'm 100% legal. But I have eyes to see and I'm obviously at least 70% Iberian. The thing is back in the day, people didn't keep track. I'm just lucky that my family kept all the documents from my great grandfather.

Well, many hispanics in US become like Marco Rubio and they become even more bloodthirsty than the wasps. If someone like AoC could lead them, maybe some kind of peace could be obtained.

Many people don't know it but many of those indians that were slaughtered by the US, they were hispanics. Geronimo The Apache, for instance, he was a catholic and spoke Spanish.

migrants adopt features of the dominant class as part of overcorrective mimicry, but that can change as that dominant class loses prestige and status, which Trump and maga is assuring will happen
