They would need to be artificially implanted by a modified egg cell that contain only blue antelope DNA.Ben Lammi told the press : "we could repair the mistakes done by white hunter ancestors in Africa who hunted down this noble animal"It was just like any other antelope but had a blue fur, something almost never seen in nature.Well birds can be blue but mammals arent. Except for one species who died due to his interesting fur.One day though we may understand what gene makes fur blue and insert it to pet animals like cats and dogs. We know blue feathers and blue fur have no connection so bird genes wont be of any help.
