It's the elephant in the room but for some reason usuallly nobody talks about this. You have a powerful backdoor inside your PC.The IME (Intel Management Engine) is essentially a microcomputer embedded inside your computer which is powered by MIMIX. It's a firmware whose purpose is not very clear. The code is secret and nobody knows how it looks. The excuse for this crap is it is used to offer "remote support". But coincidentally it's microprocessor is located in the SouthBridge chipset, yes, the same in charge to connect with the I/O devices. So it was obviously planned to have access not only to the SATA (hard drive) but to the external world overall, keyboard, camera, mic, screen, etc. It also has access to the NorthBridge so it owns your CPU and RAM as well.Turninng off your PC won't do since it's designed to survive without the energy being plugged nor the external battery of the laptop. So I infer it sucks energy directly from the CMOS used to power the BIOS/UEFIThere are people who figured out ways to diasable it by using open source software but it's a pain in the ass and if you are not very careful you can damage the PC.>Intel? Or rather.. Intel Aviv
i'll bump you
i use a mac
>>534180547>So I infer it sucks energy directly from the CMOSyou are retarded, dudeME is active when the power supply is plugged in, but it doesn't use the coin cell battery because what would be the point lmao
>>534180686I'm gonna post a free tutorial here to disable it. Maybe next week
