>An Indian invents buddhism>Turns out it's too civilised for IndiansSiddhartha didn't think that one through, did he?
>>534184745He was an Aryan tho
> Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it... Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.""But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to itBuddhism is the only religion that encourages freethinking
>>534184745Sid Bud was a cool dude, man.
>>534185295It honestly perplexes the mind that he was an INDIAN.
Buddha like Jesus may have been gayabandoning your wife and family to do spiritual stuff - how 'based' is that?the women-bashing is gay-coded- t. Asian religion believer
>>534185600He was the northern kind, which means he had the admixtures of all the smarter, better cultures that ran across the north over the centuries in a Scooby Doo/Keystone Cops fashion. He wasn't a poo in loo Dravidian rape ape.
>>534185810Women are evil and corrupt everything. All Church Fathers, Philosophers, Enlightened Souls everywhere always agreed on this since the Dawn of Mankind.Your only recourse is calling them "gay"
>>534185600He was wandering around town and thought, "maybe these guys shouldn't be raping lizards to death."This initial thought eventually grew into a new religion.
>>534184745>>534185280>Test my teachings as an alchemist would test gold, and discard all that does not apply or rings false.I thought reincarnation was a thing they believed and gender was part of form and not soul
>>534186382gave me a good kek, thanks
>>534186420A lot of people who self-apply the label will tell you they believe such things because they're facts, but they believe them because they were told to. There's not requirement to believe these things to practice Buddhism nor be a Buddhist, and you actually shouldn't believe them if you haven't proven it to yourself through practice and experience. But a teaching becomes a religion becomes a culture becomes what you feel pressured to believe by those around you, so this tendency, however misguided, should be forgiven if not accepted.
>>534185965He had no admixture. Buddha is consistently described as blue eyed and he came from the Shakya people, who are the exact same as the Saka (i.e. Scythian) of Central Asia who of course are literal Aryans.
>>534186719Sure, if we wanna draw the line at that level of resolution, I'm with your interpretation. Also we verge on the limit of my understanding of the development of early races/ethnicities here. But it's a "measuring the coast" problem, and at a higher level of resolution, the Scythians are themselves mixes of whatever made Scythians. The point I'm standing by is that he wasn't the street shitting southern Indian variety just because he was born within the technical borders of present-day India. I don't claim to know what you're saying is true or false, and so I don't deny it's true.
