I'm taking undergrad courses as a man in my thirties, and I've realized something: zoomers never ask questions. It's always the other fully adult students like me who are asking questions in class. Working and talking with Gen Z'ers, I think I figured out why. They don't understand that other people know things that they don't. In other words, they lack a theory of mind. To them, whatever they know must be what everyone else already knows. What are the political implications of this?
>>534185756I think it's because they're too timid.

First of all, “not asking questions” is the way it has always been. Millenials didn’t ask questions in their undergrad classes either when they were young. You are what other students call a “non trad” because you are way older than everyone else and act funny. There have always been nontrads. People make fun of you being your back because you ask so many questions.2. The reason they don’t ask questions is not because they feel like they know everything. It’s because they don’t care. In Gen Ed classes students are literally there because it’s required of them to get the degree. They do not want to learn, they want to do the bare minimum to pass. In advanced classes people ask more questions because they care.3. I know a lot of zoomers, I actually teach college classes. They don’t feel superior to you. Most of them are insecure. Insecurity is another reason people wouldn’t ask questions, they are afraid to reveal their ignorance.
>>534185756Oh hey it's the blue button sissy that kept saying no one has a theory of mind.
>>534185756Everything is in the textbooks, don't need to ask shit when you can read. Classes are a waste of times. Schools are antiquated technology.
>>534185756This was actually a thing when i was in college.and i graduated in '08The non trads were always more engaged becuase they avtually wanted to be there, and their brain was developed to piece together entire thoughts. the young kids were still too wrapped up in personal identity or networking. And were there as passive learners absorbing information instead of synthesizing it. you probably also did some independant research before goin_ to school when the kids are kinda going in blind.
>>534186294Replied to an ironic weeb retard posting idolshit which is basically a mental zoomer himself otherwise he wouldn't post with a pontential avatar to avatarfag. You did good but always remember: Anime reaction pic = Cancerous retard, not pretending to be retard, an actual attention seeking retard thinking he's being ironic which in facth he's not. They exist to be cancer and only cancer can come out of their ass when they aren't trying to larp so hard to pass themselves as something.
>>534185756its actually that they just don't give a fuck and who could blame them? college and education is worthless>>534186640this is all true but you are using a memeflag. oops
