Reading has always been more of a feminine thing but books these days are marketed to women, whenever I go to the bookstore it's all dark romance, crime novels, half the covers are in women colors like lavender and such or have visuals that'd appeal to women.That never really stopped me but I'm sure this has an impact on the reader demographics.
I stopped reading books when they all became pozzedfinding a good non-pozzed book in current year is like finding the holy grail and its a huge time investment to read halfway through a book only for it to turn out pozzed af and then you have to burn it and that takes time out of your day too
