The only nation in Asia that has legit communism now is North Korea, and ONLY because of external factors. If the US got rid of the DMZ and all sanctions on North Korea, communism would fall in NK in less than a decade. China turned away from communism once trade opened up to China from the west. It's now communist in name only, in practice it's much closer to national socialism with a strong capitalist bent.
