Ukrainian strikes hit the Tuapse oil refinery and terminal in Krasnodar Krai on April 16 20 and 28 causing fires shutting down operations damaging storage tanks and disrupting Black Sea exports while on April 2 the Bashneft Novoil refinery in Ufa was hit and set on fire reducing refining capacity and the same day Kirovske air base in Crimea was struck destroying an An 72P patrol aircraft and multiple radar systems which reduced air surveillance on April 18 strikes hit Sevastopol including Kazachya Bay port area causing a large fire and also hit the Novokuibyshevsk refinery Syzran refinery Tikhoretsk oil pumping station and the Vysotsk Lukoil terminal all part of the fuel supply chain during the same period about 15 explosions hit the Yaroslavl refinery causing a major fire and a strike on the Apatit chemical plant in Cherepovets ruptured a sulfuric acid pipeline and injured workers while in Crimea Ukrainian strikes damaged the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs landing ships Nikolai Filchenkov and Yamal and damaged a MiG 31 at Belbek airfield and earlier strikes hit oil tanks in Feodosia and a pumping station near Novorossiysk that feeds Ilsky and Afipsky refineries and Ukrainian drone attacks forced Russian troops to abandon positions without infantry combat causing direct loss of positions
