They just lost the productivity race with this ruling. This will hurt company profits and will definitely lead to inefficiencies eg, if AI does something cheaper and faster than a worker, a company must keep the worker, the company loses profits it would otherwise earn. But China is a communist country, so CCP sticks to communism.
>>
Damn not the company profits won't someone think of the board members salary

>muh profits
You sound like a jew
>>

How will China survive without mass unemployment?
>>
Based
>>
>>534196288
>china making it illegal to fire workers just to replace them with ai
>mexico makes it illegal for employers to keep employees "on call" after work hours

>meanwhile in weimerica wages continue to stagnate thanks to greedy boomers and kikes as every american is replaced with an h1b visajeet or ai and your employer is allowed to demand that you take their calls on off hours
>>
>>534196288
Makes sense. This is the same country that would have construction companies buy expensive equipment but have all the employees do it by hand. The reasoning being that they have so many people it isn't practical to give them free gibs without at least some token labor.
>>
>>534196288
Likely companies will try to find loopholes to be able to get rid of workers and stop hiring for positions which can be automated. I do agree that this will create temporary inefficiencies.
>>
Chinks eat dogs
>>
>>534197297
>Likely companies will try to find loopholes to be able to get rid of workers
And then their csuite will be disappeared like Jack Ma and return after a few months completely denying that they ever tried to find any loopholes and stating that the emphatically support all current laws and would never ever try to fuck over their employees.
>>
>>534196288
>company pays the worker to stay home and jerk off
china won
>>
>>534197606
I don't know, China is heavily invested in AI/robots already. I doubt the party will decide to throw it all away because of one ruling.
>>
>>534198057
Not really, China is WAAAAAAY less invested in AI than America, in part because a lot of the hype around it is entirely manufactured as another stock market grift.
>>
>>534196288
>China has better labor rights than the west
Yet another massive fucking W for the Chinese
>>
>>534198159
They're going all-in on AI/robotics:

https://merics.org/en/report/embodied-ai-chinas-ambitious-path-transform-its-robotics-industry

and want everything developed/manufactured in China, including AI chips.
>>
>>534198409
Anon, all of America's growth over the last 2 years has been because of AI.
China's has not.
They're not nearly as invested into this shit as America is, because, again, anyone with eyes can see that this is mostly just a scam.
>>
>>534196288
AI bros always went berserk about this simple fact
>AI will be regulated harder than Internet is
>>
>>534198497
Why would they invest in it when they can just steal the source code down the line. Let the suckers build it.
>>
>>534198617
US fucked themselves over with datacenters
They really went all in on Stadia 2.0 while all China had to do, and China did it, is to provide a local machine ready models.
The whole cloud you will all be subscribers gig that was the plan of 4th industrial revolution is over
>>
>>534198188
Why are we suppose to hate China, again? Oh, right, it's because red scare propaganda conveniently leaves out that the NSA exists
>>
>>534199221
Shut up chink!!!!
>>
chinks are retarded for doing this.
imagine forcing companies to become less competitive as every other company around the world embraces ai
>>
>>534198782
>US fucked themselves over with datacenters
Scam Altman and Karp fisherman get no bid govt contracts because, you know, THEY'RE JEWS.
>>
>>534196288
This is the strongest signal that ai will never replace jobs.
>>
>>534196288
>Protecting their domestic talent pool for senior level roles
>America will replace all entry level roles with AI in a short term greedy mindset and gets fucked in 20-30 years when the seniors retire and there is no one to replace them.
>>
>>534196288
So china gave up on AI?
>>
>>534199338
The point of communism is not profit it is accessibility to commodities which is why they manufacture everything for as cheap as possible.
>>
>>534199338
Who gives a fuck about how competitive corporations are?
>>
>>534196288
>companies cannot fire workers simply to replace them with AI
Lol, those companies will just blatantly say some BS like 'your performance is worthless' or 'you won't work 16 hours a day' and then fire you anyway.
>>
Is life in mainland China still a joke or?
