It just doesn't live up to the hype. I'm watching the company I work for push hard to put AI in everything and remove the human element trying to make everything end to end AI.And everywhere else everyone needs to use some AI tool in some way.It's insane like these people are possessed as if they're trying to appease some sort of God.I'm not opposed to these LLM tools they can do some neat things but even on a good day you can't even get half of what is advertised out of them.Here's the skinny of it ..the LLM things are best if you consider them like capable interns. Can get some stuff done for you but you should check over it and overall don't involve them in mission critical stuff.What is being advertised and attempted is that the LLM stuff is like having highly experienced and competent professionals on hand.And all I can really do is watch and wonder if I'll get axed from the company before or after all this shit starts backfiring.
