This is where the horseshoe theory has merit. Radicals tend to understand art. Normgroids (boomercons, and even neolibs) cannot into art. Leftists, like anarchists and fascists, have a revolutionary "destroy and rebuild" approach to the world. Doesn't make them correct, but it lends itself to high expression. The center-right completely lacks those visionary & revolutionary impulses.
