Éire/pol/ will always be shit.

People won't search for the fada and find it in the catalogue. Reducing the amount of people that will be able to bump these threads. Successful country generals have one syllable. E.g. aus/pol/ or brit/pol/

I proposed simply having eir/pol/ for this reason, but autists are fixated on having this capital e fada shite.

To get an Ireland general thread going, it's better to simply pick a day and time to get it going. When the migrant centres were being burned fairly regularly 2 years ago I was making them on a Friday evening (pick a time, 9 PM Irish time). Consume alcohol, shitpost. Those threads stayed up for many hours and got plenty of replies because of all the reason I mentioned.

Lastly, I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just giving feedback. If you want to make Ireland general threads fine but try be a bit smarter about it. I knew I was doing it right when people kept calling me a glownigger. Because they assumed I must've had a bad motive for simply putting in some effort.
