Glowies don't want you to grow a food forest because it fucks up their plans for depopulation. They want you starved, weak and desperate so they can send you into the meat grinder of WWIII.
>>534203680That's true. I'll never own property though because nothing pays more than $25 an hour.
>>534203680If famine happens though I don’t want to survive. You do realize famine is just step one, right?
>>534203738Do you know people with property? Help them build a food forest in exchange for some of the crops.
>>534203680Im turning over grass with a pickaxe and it just keeps coming back bro fucking kill me
>>534203831Plant clovers
>>534203794i own property and would not consider this for 1 millisecond. that type of shit always ends up as a disaster.
>>534203738NOOOOOO COMMIIIIEEEEEEEEEE YOU WANT TO MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS AN HOUR WHILE POOR LARRY FINK GETS NOTHING!!!!!
>>534203861Source: Your cavernous anus
>>534203831then rake it out of the soil once you break it up.
>>534203794My brother is growing a lot of food, more every year.I’m kind of expecting him to turn me away if the happening happens. Not that it will happen, but it IS the happening and the dude’s got kids.I won’t even be mad. Might try to convince him extra iron against raiders is invaluable, but I won’t press the matter.
>>534204010There's no harm in offering some help now before things get rough, especially if he has kids to take care of.
>>534203912i have a homestead and have teamed up with people multiple times and its always doesnt benefit me in any way. a few yrs ago i had 5 different people getting water from my well and that alone was too much. i had people wondering around my yard constantly while they filled their tanks and only one elderly man even bothered to say thank you, the rest said water was a human right and it was the least i could do. never again
>>534204074I don't believe you for a second.
GROW STUFF.DO IT NOW.
>>534203915I am, its taking forever and i always seem to miss a bunch even if it looks like I got it all
>>534204064Oh I do. Not specifically with growing the food but different stuff he plans on doing. Just to spend time with him. But he’s really busy and work is whenever work fits more than rigidly planned.
>>534204867That's good, then. I hope things get better for you, Anon.
Slowly putting one together despite the best efforts of the fucking deer. (Fuckers killed multiple mulberry and apple saplings two years back.)3 apple trees capable of cross-pollinating each other, 2 plums, 3 thornless blackberry plants, 3 strawberry plants, 3 blueberry bushes. Gonna try and get two more plums, three more blackberry bushes, and two blueberry bushes this year and then cough up for some big mulberries next year. Chop down a swath of wild blackberry patch next year, kill the root balls, and put in more apple trees.
>>534205638Deer are pretty tasty too :)
>>534203738on an aside, housing isnt unaffordable because it is artificially inflated, the reason its unaffordable is because it has maintained its value alongside inflation but you are just making peanuts for wages. the disparity between wages and property prices is a measure of wage theft and true greed is the jews wanting to replace you for someone who requires fewer printed notes per week - its not even a measure of value, just how many notes they have to hand over.
true
>>534205638Get some black currants, plant them around young trees. They won't smother the trees but the deer might eat said currants first. When your tree is grown enough you can just cut the currants down or leave them there, they'll fruit in shade still. And this can be done with one established currant plant, one plant will give you enough cuttings to just make infinity more and all you do to take said cuttings is just cut them off and stick them in the ground.SOURCE- not me some youtube video, my currant is coming in tomorrow.
>>534205174Things are fine, I just don’t hold a delusion I’ll be 100% welcomed with open arms when you can’t buy food.
>>534207208You can also plant a vine that will climb the tree for even more harvest in the same area.
>>534207283I meant being able to afford land of your own and maybe start a family if that's something you want.
>>534205638I bought a house with a bit over 2 acres, adjacent to 1000+ acres of conservation land. It's a bit more isolated than I would like, although there are still towns around me, I don't live in a neighborhood. Still, I'm able to grow more than when I lived in a shiturb. I have a long driveway, and towards the end as you come up to my house, I planted 3 pears, and on the other side 3 apples. My garden is about 31' x 32'. I grow enough vegetables to last me, my wife and daughter for most of the year. I have room to expand it if I wanted. I also grow enough berries to last all year. I have 10 each of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Rasps & Blacks obviously expand and send out new canes. I have a shit-ton of strawberries, about 27' row-worth, maybe 40 plants. I'm also experimenting with growing a gigantic pumpkin this year. I love winter squash so I have a bunch of varieties. My daughter wanted to grow a "pumpkin garden" (she's 3), so I let her pick out a bunch of different varieties, and we're going to grow them this year. I've thought about getting a coop, I have plenty of room, but not sure I want to deal with the work of maintaining it. A ton of people in my town have chickens, so there's fresh eggs all over.
>>534204010Give him some high-yield genetically dwarf fruit trees, easiest bribe of your life. He wouldn't turn you away if you got him an orchard, probably.
