I think the main problem is the EU rules say we cannot accept a new member with ongoing territorial disputes, so they’d have to either win back the lost territory or make a peace deal accepting loss of lost territory.But that’s only problem 1. You also have corruption stuff, economic stuff, probably environmental and other reforms needed too.But anyway, it’s worth it for us to invest in Ukraine as they’re the first line of defence against Russia.
