This is the kind of poverty that is fucking inexplicable and 100% rest of the shit quality humans infesting the area in a lazy stupor of learned helplessness. They have the land, they have resources, they are part of a large and relatively functioning state giving them gibs and it's... nothing. You could walk into a village and see hambeasts sitting on a trash covered porch, complaining about how they are going to die of hunger. When you ask them why don't they just plant something in their acres of land if they are neets anyway, they stare at you like you just offered five dollars to fuck their mom. No, scratch that, they would actually consider that. You can wander through all the dead villages where everything is closed and boarded up. All the small shops are gone, the crafts and the railroad were gone a hundred years ago and now even ghetto ass places like Dollar General are gone. The only places left are gas stations where everyone congregates to buy fuel, crack, beers and cigarettes. The only jobs available are the few government workers pretending to run the places and the gas station attendants. There is nothing, because no one does anything, just wait for gibs, then blow it all at a big shartmart trip for goyslop or at the gas station, then spend their entire neet lives of just loafing around. There is no market, cause no one has any money to spend on anything, no taxes cause no one earns anything nor produces anything.
Most of the wealthy are apolitical or even mildly socialist. New York, New York has a 14% combined city-state tax rate and only 8% of the high earners left. It looks like the paypigs will gladly pay so it only makes sense to raise the taxes on the rich as much as possible. They love being taxed. The real issue here isn't that the rich aren't willing to pay, it's that the money is being squandered and laundered through 1,000s of corrupt NGOs and bureaucracies by the Democrats. I think Republicans should just preempt the Dems and the feds by raising taxes on the rich to 14% too.

Washington forest back roads are some of the most beautiful in the country. You just have to be content with pretending like everybody in the state doesn't exist, because that's how they're gonna treat you. Personally I'm leaning more to Minnesota as a summer hobo destination, because Midwesterners are more mentally stable and easy to deal with.
