AI isnt popping. Its here to stay and take over. Maybe shitty companies using the term AI will get fucked by not the major AI models.

Google, Amazon, Netflix, and PayPal all started in the dot com bubble. Had you bought any of those back then you would be rich. Even if you bought them at the top. Hell even if you bought the market at the top you'd still be up.

the difference between ai and dotcoms back then is anyone could register a domain and put a logo on their door and people would throw cash at them thinking it was all the next big thing, but 99% of dotcoms spent the cash invested in them on who knows what (more logos for their doors and new cars) and produced absolutely nothing and everyone lost their money. ai is producing results and improving every day, i'm sorry to tell you this but this is here to stay this time.

they've been screaming about bubbles ever since. even before AI it was bubble this bubble that. Tiktok retards picked up the buzzword and now it's just being thrown around.
Most of these companies are just trying to multiply their stock to carve up what's left.
But the idea that nvidia or tsmc or asml or samsung etc. will go broke and die is absurd.
>>
>>534318287
Explain how...
>>
>>534327830
Most of them do not. They really seem to think that AI bubble popping would mean that the AI slop would be abandoned and we would go back to old good times of commissioning overpriced furry porn from twitter artists.
When it actually means that they investors who put their money into AI bubble will lose a quite a bit, and have to take that money back through other means, which will mean inflation, rent hikes, even more mass firings and so on.

It's not hard to see how things will probably play out if you are objective and rational and have a good understanding of how things will play out.
There is a bubble, but it isn't just "AI" like the dotcom bubble wasn't just "internet."
In the late '90s there was a surge of startups jumping on the internet/technology bandwagon, whose entire business plan boiled down to "[thing that already exists] but on the internet!" And for a while, that enabled them to get showered with tons of VC money because everyone the internet was going to revolutionize the world.
Same thing is happening today. There are a lot of random startups whose entire business plan boils down to "[thing that already exists] but with AI!" And eventually their VC cash will run out and that bubble will pop too.
But just like the internet, AI will just continue to grow and become more and more common and pervasive in everyone's lives and everywhere else.
OpenAI, Anthropic, and all the other major AI companies are in a high-stakes race. Everyone thinks the winner of this race will be the one who is first to develop THE AI model. The one that gives them an unbeatable advantage, not just over their competitors but over the economy and the rest of humanity. AGM or Superintelligence or whatever you want to call it.
The problem is that there is never going to be a point where someone turns on their newest model and it's so objectively different and better that everyone universally agrees that it is THE AI model. We could have Skynet trying to exterminate humanity, and AI naysayers would still be calling it a glorified text autocomplete or "impossible for a machine to think" or "it's not REAL intelligence" or "it's just repeating something from its training data."
The obvious winner of the AI race will be Google.

yes fren, save the children, save the planet, care the vulnerable, but at the end of the story water = $$$$$$, they pretend to sell us our own water, and use the rest of it to create energy and sell it to us too, energy = $$$$$, haha or refresh those "data centers" they will use to control us like the vasals we are :), control us = social peace :) $$$$= keep all the control machine running, so they need $$$$ as much as anything else in this world.

>Would it surprise you if I told you the tech has been here for several decades already
It wouldn't suprise me, but it would tell me that you don't actually know what you are talking about, and that you actually know much less about all of this stuff than you think you do.
From around 1969 to 2012, virtually all funding and research and development into "AI" focused entirely on symbolic AI systems, mainly because in 1969 a prominent researcher named Marvin Minsky (the name is familiar because he was buddies with Jeff Epstein) wrote a very influential book called "Perceptrons" which basically argued that neural networks were a pointless waste of time.
For the next 40+ years, all efforts in the field of AI were focused on trying to create AI by directly writing all of the rules and logic it would need. Basically just a hard coded logical flowchart or huge databases of expert answers to every possible question the researchers could come up with.
But it was never good enough, and never achieved what was promised because even with huge databases of answers, users would inevitably ask new questions. This resulted in an "AI Winter" (two, actually) where funding dried up.
ALL of the recent developments and breakthroughs in AI recently are because the research shifted away from that type of symbolic AI and back toward using the neural networks that Minsky had convinced everyone to stop wasting their time on.
In the 2000s, researchers started realizing that GPUs actually worked very well for the exact types of math that neural networks and deep learning used.
More importantly, basically everything that people think of as "AI" today is at least partially based on a groundbreaking paper released in 2017 titled "Attention is All You Need" that introduced the Transformer Architecture. The GPT in ChatGPT stands for generative pre-trained transformer.
None of the tech existed, even in theory, more 10 years ago.

i think also google will end dominating the market, and many of those other ones will be bought after scamming their shareholders. the future of AI has two paths, one huge state/intelligence/military/elite version, and one light version for goyim, with more specific builds, i mean one for lawyers, other for doctors, other for architects, other for drivers, other for coders, and so on...., but they need some kind of ecosystem of versions as the process of data its so huge that no humans are involved in training new versions, also the political use and money it gives to those who own the technology, so they are deploying "data centers" :) like in a crazy race..., as soon as they get the big ones, the small and light specific versions will be pretty easy to train.
what you think will happen after the state can process all the citizens/business data 20 times a day?? where is the public control? instead "public scrutiny" we have "control the public", to save the children and the planet and the vulnerable and the social peace, its for your own good

Social media has primed an environment where this type of degeneracy is not only accepted, it thrives. Social media desensitizes and radicalizes even moderates into believing heinous and abhorrent behavior is acceptable under the correct context. Spend just 5 minutes on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, you will find hordes of these deranged people. They exist among us. The FBI knows about them but never acts until it is far too late. Western society is on a one-way fast track to collapse as long as social media continues to destroy minds and decay the culture.

Change "social media" for politicians, kings, churches, elites, mass media, tv, cinema, fiat money printed without any control, or private banks, jews, niggers, white trash, pajeets, chinks, latinos, lol.... u did an universal speech, :) not easy imho, gz :)

btw social media is no more than a social network interface, so if people has a big social network, is bad for them? why? they watch shit freely..., in north korea there is a democratic social media too, a democratic republic provides a democratic network, but maybe im wrong but that propose sounds me like state control xD

LLMs have existed since the 70s. They were mainly usrd by oil companies. The AI bubble is scheme to capitalize on the buzzword.
