In contrast to the situation in the previous ceasefire, when Hezbollah did not dare to respond with fire, now Hezbollah fires frequently in an attempt to blow up the negotiations between Israel and the Lebanese government and to establish a new equation. This is a significant step backwards for Israel.4. The IDF's grip on the ground is much better - instead of a minimalist security strip with 5 points close to the border, there is now a thickened strip 5 to 10 km wide with a dense IDF presence across the entire width of the sector, from the sea to the Hermon.5. The new strip provides an excellent answer to the danger of a large-scale invasion by Hezbollah, which in fact does not exist now (there will always be small-scale infiltrations, but this is also more complex now).
