Do Christians on /pol/ believe the things written in the Bible literally, unironically happened word for word on this very Earth as they are described? The Garden of Eden, the great flood, Moses parting the sea, God nuking Sodom and Gomorrah, the Tower of Babel, Jesus raising the dead, etc.?

What about stuff like demonic possession, exorcisms, witchcraft?

I'm not Christians but I think it happened.
Though not necessarily exactly like the bible says. And it happened a long time ago during a high-magic era. We're in a low-magic era now so ofc it all seems impossible.
>>

Is it any more unbelievable than what we're experiencing in our lives today?
>>
>>534335618
Quite a bit so I would say.

Because Jesus talked about those events as factual history, and Jesus is God, so we are to believe Him. Confirmed by prophecy, attested by God through miracles, and risen from the dead to glory, there is no one we ought to trust more than Jesus as to who God is and what happened in this world. Jesus points us back to the Bible and to the one, true God found therein, and confirms for us that the Triune God of Christian Scripture is the one true God. This is how we know who the real God is.

The Bible is the written word of God, it has everything God wants us to know, and it's also a history book. The mainstream narrative is heavily against this, but have you ever considered that maybe what the Bible says is actually true?

Take a look at the Bible itself, there are hundreds of details about the future that come true from 100 to 3000 years before it took place. Just the first three chapters in the Bible cover a field of scientific facts which has never had to be altered in 4000~ years, unlike "scientific" books which constantly become obsolete. Take a look at pic related for example. Is the Bible really just some random book that people believe for no reason?

Take a look at the impossible mathematical perfection of the Bible:

Eph. 2:8-9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Jesus Christ paid for your sins on the cross to save you as a gift. Confess the Lord Jesus in prayer: Dear God, I repent as a sinner who wants to be saved from hell. I believe Jesus is God who died, was buried and resurrected so that his blood can wash away my sins. I only trust in that alone to save me, not my good works. I pray in the holy name of Jesus, Amen.

Religion is state encouraged schizophrenia, by definition.
False beliefs and delusions convenient for ruling class.
Not even like "possible" false beliefs, just literal "there're gnomes living in my attic" type false beliefs.

>>534336485
shoot yourself dumb christkike shill
>>
>>534335283
Absolutely. I have witnessed these things multiple times with the exception of an exorcism.
>>
>>534336660
Its not really schizophrenia if it benefits you.
>>
>>534335283
There are some parts of the Old Testament I think were subject to what you might call "puffery", as in I think later jewish scribes changed some of the numbers to sound more impressive ie 30,000 jews fleeing Egypt didn't sound impressive a thousand years later so they multiplied it by 100. Doesn't change the underlying story and themes, but the new numbers just don't make sense in places - ie why would 1 million Jewish soldiers be scared of 400 Egyptian chariots?
>>
>>534335283
What I believe it's not your fucking problem, nigger.
>>
>>534335283
Do you believe that the entire universe exploded out from nothing? Are you shinto and think we are a foxes left nut or something? I fail to see how an infinite universe, infinitely expanding forever is more believable than God making people from the dirt.
>>
>>534336790
You could argue that, yes, if religion was used for benefit. But it's mostly used for justifying hate.
That aside, schizophrenia doesn't differentiate positive and negative delusions. It just is.
"Aliens are helping me to achieve my goals" - is still crazy, even if you're incidentally getting somewhere in life.

Not really Christianity is all about inner peace. And theres merit to it because damn the people that dont have it seem to be some miserable pieces of shit. Though ill say there are Christians that dont understand the doctrine at all and they are also miserable.

It happened. As the jews dominate Whites economically, so they do spiritually. This is why I'm a Satanist, I oppose the kike god Jehovah.

Only protestants believe the Bible literally. Unfortunately, in the US pretty much all Christians are protestants
These are people that actually believe that Noah build a boat and filled it with a couple of every species now living. American Christians think Noah got every single seed of every plant and stored into his boat. And the couples. Noah got an Elephant couple into his boat, and Giraffes, and every single species of dogs and cats. And every species of mosquitoes and vermin, Noah got a couple into his boat. And they believe that. American Christians.
They also believe Noah fucked his own daughters after it all, but that's a whole other story

No one knows with certainty the past or future.
Just be kind to each other.

Hey no problem, I believe most of it is from this book by Peter Ruckman:

You will probably find this video interesting to listen to, it goes through many scientific facts the Bible had way before the world knew about it and stuff like that.

I have a BIG question
when kikes say that “romans killed Christ” and double down on that and get even churches to say the same thing, how do they explain away Pilate washing his hands?
Because to me that would be really hard to believe that the Roman killed Christ if their main dude was like yeah i dont want any part of this and then these jews that hated him made sure he was executed.
But hey Im just antisemitic so maybe my brain dont work good.

Anyone taking this literally is retarded. The Garden of Eden is supposed to represent an ideal world on the other side of the portal known as the monad from where nous (sacred knowledge) eminates into the material world. Adam and Eve are the archetypal father and mother of humanity; their failure to resist temptation led to their demise. This reflects the necessity of obedience to the lord of wisdom which on Earth would mean your parents, teachers, and elders
>>
>>534341451
The Garden of Eden represents the ideal state of unity between G-d and man, with the fall driven by the quest for forbidden knowledge and the resulting exile to a life of harsh labor outside of the presence of the creator. This is a Babylonian and Canaanite origin story and viewing from the view of the Pythagoreans or Gnostics, which I'm not too familiar with, misses the point.
