I know this forum likes to discuss real estate a lot so here's another thread. They build these everywhere in the country now. What are some political implications of America starting to look like picrel? >in socialism you get commie blocks >in capitalism you get wagie blocks
why are wagie blocks so much nicer than commieblocks? does it have to do with why communist countries have to build walls to keep their people in, while capitalist countries have to build wall to keep foreigners out?
>>534373136You're talking about old Soviet commie blocks. They build a lot of similar buildings in China and Best Korea now too you know.
>>534373355You mean the ghost cities?
>DOOOOD LOOK AT THE HECKIN MOINTAINERINOS>you can't build anything here even cuz MY MOOOUNNTAIIIINS SO PRETTYYTI hate flyover fags so much.
>>534373136Also a lot of tenants of the American wagie blocks are foreign. Like maybe 50% at least.
>>534373425No. I mean their regular cities.
How small are those mountains to be blocked by a 10 story building doe
>>534373494They block a lot of sunlight too. Btw these big developers are able to change whole lot of zoning laws. Because when you have billions of dollars you can change a lot of things.
>>534372689I don't care about how the area looks. I want everyone to have a cheap house/apartment. We should build in national parks. A house/condo should be cheaper than a cheap car.
>>534373136it has to do with commieblocks being built from prefab concrete panels and thrown together as fast as possible to create new housing for all the people moving into freshly rebuilt post-war cities and newly built industrial towns.Pre-war commieblocs looked nice, opulent even. Post-war nobody gave a shit about aesthetics, just volume. These things weren't actually meant to be permanent, just a stopgap solution, which is still around 70 years later and probably won['t go away until we annihilate ourselves.
