>>534376301>Rely on Claude code to the point you can't get anything done with it>Sorry goys Claude code is now $2999 a month, plus tip. It's fixing to be another tollbooth, just like cloud
>>534376181Oh yeah, I am gonna prompt.Uoooaaaah!I am prooooompting so hard right now.
>>534376640My entire fucking team is uding fucking claude and praises and worships it. They're like fucking crackheads. What the actual fuck is young on!?I am genuinely scared of the unknown that awaits in the abyss. This is not normal at all.
>>534376181I have the $20 subscription for gpt. this seems to serve all my needs and I don't detect I've been compute limited or anything.why would anyone buy the gpt $200 plan?Other AIs are good, but they're all fucked in some way. Cursor is turning to shit. Gemini is literally jeeted tier. Claude seems amatuerish.
>>534376640I tried to use Claude Code free to make a simple game. It was retarded. Kept forgetting features in between versions. It would literally delete things I already got it to add and then I had to catch the error, make it re do the code and test again. Like every time I added some thing it would delete two parts of the program it had just done. Probably does this on purpose to make you use more GPU time and pay more money. It was such a bad experience and I had no idea what the code was by looking at it so had to compile it and run the program to find the errors. Made me realize how useless it really is and like you said it makes you reliant on Claude code to even understand the code it's already made. I just decided to teach myself to code the hard way and then I would be able to know every line of code, why it's there, and where to find any part I need to change later. Even for a simple card playing game it become convoluted and unworkable. Then as the program gained in complexity I was burning through my daily free limit in one or two prompts. Then I saw the paid options only offer slightly more prompts but no unlimited prompt options. I'm sure a simple 2D pixel art game would end up costing more to vibe code on Claude then paying a human programmer who would do it way better. The top tier Claude Code level is $200 a month and likely to increase without warning, or decrease usage limits. $200 a month could pay for a 3rd world coder to work full time for me. Say one year of fighting with Claude Code is $2400 to code an indie game, not cheap and I bet I can contract a decent coder for that or less to do the same, in less time than I can vibe code it.
>>534377142>>534377517Every is reliant on it in my company too. They bought us pro or Max plans or whatever and told us to "lean into it", and to be fair I've built some shit with it quick, that does (mostly) work. I rarely hit limits but our company is now completely dependent on it and would easily bring extorted into paying more for it, and I think we're already in six figures. It's the dope dealer business model
>>534377142Claude is better than most people at most things you can do on a computer. I don't know why normies keep sticking their head under the sand pretending we're not utterly FUCKED

>>534376181>BUY SUBSCRIPTION TO $200 MAX THAT YOU CAN BURN TROUGH IN AFTERNOON YOU BLOODY BENCHODThe $200 GPT plan is 20x the usage of the $20/mo plan. That is a LOT of compute, that is far cheaper than it costs to actually do that compute. If you are using a $200 plan in one day you had better be doing commercial activity to produce value in the economy, otherwise you shouldnt be allowed to use that much electricity to fuck off. Also OpenAI resets weekly usage if they have identified any bugs or problems in the service.>>534376640>Sorry goys Claude code is now $2999 a monthHow much does a human coder cost per month? $3000/mo in frontier agentic coding is a trivial cost.>>534377142>My entire fucking team is uding fucking claude and praises and worships itGPT-5.5 is better for backend, Opus 4.7 design is crazy good though, Adobe is fucking COOOOKED
>>534377804It was crazy as I kept making new versions of the card game, adding features, it would find coding errors Claude itself first made. Like it would show me the code, that Claude made, and explain why it wasn't the best way to do it....but I didn't do it in the first place. It was surreal. I made a Blackjack game that ran in the console with ASCII art and it suggested we build it into a GUI and I said, go ahead. Then the new GUI version stripped out all the features I spent an hour adding like a built in card counter and BJ coach telling you to hit, stay, split, ect. Then I asked Claude why it deleted all that and it was like, "Oh you're right, I forgot to add all that code to the new version let me do that real quick!" What the fuck is that? It felt like I was dealing with a literal retard with a goldfish memory. Most of my time was spent error correcting it and once that was done, add a new feature, it erases half of the program, start over error correcting. Maybe the paid version is better but it was beyond frustrating for me as a non coder.

>>534376181So Sora died for nothing? At least make Sora public so we can conjure demons woth jt
>>534378460>>534378296The truth is the exact oppisite. A simple Google search shows this and common sense would tell you this. The vast majority of global GDP is goods and services that don't involve coding or an office based job siting in front of a computer. Based on 2024–2025 data, the "real economy" (physical goods and tangible services) accounts for roughly 70–75% of global GDP, while purely intangible/digital service sectors (IT, finance, and advanced office services) make up the remaining share. Here is the data for Finland alone:In Finland, the "real economy" of physical goods and tangible services accounts for approximately 55%–60% of GDP. While still high, this is lower than the global average because Finland is a highly advanced service economy where high-value digital and "office-based" sectors like IT and professional services play a larger role.Again, even in Finland IT is the minority of GDP and this stupid faggot doesn't even know how his own country works. Boo this man.

>>534376301This. AI isn’t being built for you losers. It’s being built for corporations who will use it to replace you losers. Kind of like what AWS did to elastic. >>534378026>How much does a human coder cost per month? $3000/mo in frontier agentic coding is a trivial cost.Bot shill detected. The code that they spit out is worthless without proper specs or review. A 3000$ agentic coding model does not replace a developer. It just gives them a tool to spit out average quality software. The average is shit, and more AI being trained on the average quality AI shit that's coming out will just lower that average. They're going to need more engineers than ever to review the shitty code they're spitting out and make sure it's not going to bankrupt the business. Anybody with their finger on the pulse knows what's really up. AI appears to increase throughout, so execs feel the need to spend money on it. The increase in throughput reduces the amount of consideration for what is worth building, and so a bunch of money is spent designing and reviewing garbage.
>Paying for A.I slop apps instead of using them for free and waiting for the cooldown to keep using them for free>Not switching to any other free A.I until the cooldown strikes again then switching to the next A.I and so onI bet you fags also pay for a 4chang passes don't you?fucking KEKonly a dumb faggot would spend money on something that anyone can use for free. >>534382641Are these all considered insults or is it like with the poo thing where we would find it weird in our culture but in theirs these are titles of great honor and respect?
>>534377517A pro-tip if you want to exploit the AI bubble without contributing anything to it.Isolate your code into segments or sections, usually single functions, or a starting class.AI sucks when the brief is complex and sprawling, and does well when it is narrow and tailored. It is weak at visual coding work.Every code iteration it gives you, run a unit test, check for errors or issues, and either fix (then copy in your modifications), or tell the AI to correct those sections.Be prepared to Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y a lot to test between versions.Do not assign complex or obscure (low knowledge domain) tasks. It excels best in giving you documentation summaries, and sucks dick in very niche or creative applications of which there's no github shit for it to copy-paste from. It's semi-decent at a second layer of bug spotting and sanity checks. Just treat every suggestion as merely a suggestion and not a thing to be implemented. Sometimes it does not know your reasoning for an unusual coding format. Just ignore it in those cases and direct it to other issues.Don't bother asking it to optimise code, it does a shit job of that as well. It might do better if you're an amateur, but if you're seasoned, your tricks will outclass it.
>>534383102>without proper specs>without proper prompti dont think anyone is arguing otherwise dude
>>534376181There is no bubble actually. You missed the train for one of the biggest moon shots of the century. You are so confidentiy wrong you have no idea the true capabilities of AI
>>534376301the revenue is pretty crazy, but it's still being highly subsidized. they're not being very honest of the real price of AI yet, it's hard to say how many people will be able to afford it in the long run. but, overall, even for open source models, efficiency will improve. it's the same how you used to need a massive computer to even do the most basic operations and now you can pack much more processing power into smaller units. same thing will happen with the efficiency of AI, but it's fairly uncertain how it'll all shake out. not everyone is going to be able to pay for these premium models. which will probably be fine for most people's needs. need to get the price down tho (ie increase efficiency). there's already some good open source models, they still require some pretty expensive hardware to run in any decent capacity tho
>>534378026>$3000/mo in frontier agentic coding is a trivial cost. Most coders do gig economy for $5 a code. You're competing against 2.6 billion people in India and China.Your piece of shit hardware is not economically competitive.I could hire 600 outsourced coders for that much. Most intern coders only take like, what, $400 a week? Your shit $3000 vs $1600 a month programmer? And the programmer often tosses in free labour and isn't subjective to telling me my content violates imaginary safety rails invented by paranoid tyrants.

>>534382687between 20 to 200 while thats not guaranteeing tokens for whole month. At any relatively complex but not hard task for human to do just time consuming and tedious shit, people burn all tokens in a day, its everywhere in last 2 weeks and even that type of monetization is not one fifth of money needed TO BREAK EVEN$5000 jobs that were done for 5k in yhe past now cost 3k because you need 2k for tokens, your manual headdesking troubleshooting is not included in token price
>>534383102your missing one piece, actually kind of spot on thoit wouldnt be something most people even think of, because they loooooove consuming and being retarded heres the secretthey will NEVER sell the most advanced neural net. this one has all of the data that exists, storage is the issue, and then reading/writing. you only need 1. given all data, it only needs to solve probability 1 time. once solved and stored, it can just access that without calculating anything. given all data, this eventually solves all problems. yes, literally that simple. if it took 10 million years to calculate the correct output that creates some software, a computer solving the probability simply just needs to simulate 10 million years where it calculates that. once solved, it then has what are called trainable classifiers. you could create 100 little babby nets and give them those classifiers, and it wouldnt cost anything, and they wouldnt need to calculate or solve anything. meanwhile, these little babby neural nets beguile and mystify the average human retard. they continue debating whether or not they are right about something they have no understanding of, and will pay you for the privilege of being retarded and wrong everything you've ever interacted with using a neural net is the old and broken version
I thing the AIjob apocalypse will happen in 14 days.
>>534379210>>534383508We've been told at work to cut down on the use of it, and it's not like I work at a broke ass company, we're one of the largest commodities houses in Europe. The API costs must be crazy. Likewise at Uber, they blew through their yearly AI budget in the first 3 months of this year. I think there's a real question here of if AI can ever be profitable.

>>534384489>not making something fast enoughthat was never a thingdemand for coding is so fucking low in general that coders intentionally stall shit and make intentional slight mistakes on backend or in user interface to justify keeping their jobs and fixing it.There is just not that much demand for AI, market for more work does not exist.
