I have watched and read hours of unhinged theorizing on how this Iran bullshit is actually 20D chess, but it all seems that it boils down to a severe miscalculation combined with sunken cost fallacy that is now destroying the world economy, and putting a billion people or more in risk of starvation. Americans themselves are suffering because of this, and their punishment is relatively light compared to indians and africans. Israel might just cease to exist within decades, if americans lose capacity to support them. Why did the USA / Israel do it?
