Why should I care about my country's debt? It's not MY personal debt, I am not responsible for paying it back so why would I give a shit?

because at this point, it's impossible to do anything about it. Just accept the country is collapsing around us and enjoy the ride. The Iran war will shoot that 60 trillion.

So what if it's 31. It could be 3001 already. If it means we have the best military force in the world and the best surveillance systems to control people and our enemies then it's worth every cent.

That's not China. A very weakened US (second largest economy to China) already used up it's military on Iran.

could also just seize every Talmudic holding and end the nightmare.

all of this is extended because Roosevelt made a treaty with the Saudis on a submarine where goats were ritually slaughtered in order to appease the goat fuckers.

in short, we could have just nuked mecca and told the sand niggers to fuck off, ending over a thousand years of conflict and sent every last kike back to buttfuckistan, dead sea

We spend more then. We replace supplies. We draft the soon to be unemployed youth into protecting our interests at home and overseas. Nobody will ask us to pay up if we dominate them. Nobody will ask us to pay up if we control them with advanced surveillance and blackmail them or assassinate them.

the only time we have ever had a surplus was under Clinton (mid 90s)

Interests payments on the debt are 16% of the budget. You pay taxes so that's your money paying for the debt. So yeah, it is your debt.

You get more taxes and less services because the government has to pay interest on its debt and the more debt we have the less you get and the more you're taxed. The alternative is for the government to print money to pay its debts which drives inflation watering down the value of every dollar you own and every dollar you're paid driving up your cost of living while your wages stay the same.

Eventually if paying interest on the debt becomes unsustainable then the value of the dollar will crash and you'll be living in a third world country.

You guys are closing in on 160% debt relative to GDP. That's been called the death zone. You better watch it, just saying.

I certainly don't plan to pay that debt.
Personally I feel like our government has been full of lying traitors for decades and they've basically stolen all of the tax money they ever collected. We would all be better off if we kept all of our own money and didn't include government in any transactions. They didn't earn any of our money or respect.

This doesn't show my taxes going up, but rather just reallocating existing tax money to debt.
>>
>>534384314
You do have to pay it back via taxes and inflation though

Oh so you think the government cut spending elsewhere to offset those interest payments on the debt?

They could do that; but they didn't.
