Blame the nyt and similar ideologues for pushing trash so aggressively the whole traditional publishing industry has become irredeemably pozzed. I used to read voraciouslly up until my mid 20s. Fiction just went to absolute shit is all. The new stuff stucks and i've read enough of the classics so I mostly just read non-fiction on occasion now and even then you've got to be careful about bullshit revisionist woke histories.
