Turns out AI wasn't replacing any jobs, companies were just always overstaffed to begin with. AI doomers BTFO

https://finance.yahoo.com/sectors/technology/articles/big-tech-cut-80-000-211500038.html
>>
Maybe AI doesn't directly replace all employees.

But AI allows a team of 10 to do what needed let's say 30 people from before.
>>
>>534398989
>overstaffed
Weird way to say non-Indian.
>>
>>534398989
Nice. Please fire the rest of those financial office sitting terrorists who actually genuinely do no work and cause financial stress for people who do improve the world.

That means firing most people in Singapore.
>>
>>534399597
i think oracle shut their entire Indian team down actuallly
>>
Yeah I had a feeling this was the case kind of like how stores used Covid as an excuse to not be open 24 hours when in truth they just didn’t want to pay to staff the store 24 hours for people to come in at 3am and steal shit and only pay for an item or 2.
>>
>>534398989
then how come people are always complaining about involuntary NEETs
>>
There is a few evil chinese execs who are moving apple tech to slave labor in singapore and other asian countries.

The intent is to bring back slave labor and make themselves rich.
These evil execs within apple must be put jailed for theft of technology and for crimes against humanity.
>>
>>534399543
If it does that team is overstaffed or just doing extremely retarded stuff.
>>
>>534398989
No matter the reason, I cheer for all of the IT jobs getting axxed. All of the most obnoxious and arrogant people I know are in IT. Oh wow, you have 20-30% bigger paycheck and what, you think you are nobility? Well motherfucker, AI is French Revolution and it is guilotinne time for you.
>>
>>534399818
The Singapore issue is a large one.
Many 'companies' are calling for laws similar to that of Singapore which are maximum corporate exploitation laws. Apparently Singapore has a very high gdp per capita, however most citizens do not own cars and live inside tiny apartments.

So where is the wealth going?
The answer is China. There is a few Chinese execs within corporate companies like Apple which are moving large amounts of wealth overseas after securing tech within their own sphere of influence.

It is blatantly stolen profit and the jobs are moved overseas to slave labor.
Now when these reports say companies they do not mention the exec who is calling for that.

The exec does not correctly identify themself, it is however most of the time an evil Chinese exec who does not follow laws of the countries they operate in. There will need to be a severance of these infected corporate arms.
>>
>>534399672
Quit stumping for Oracle jidf.
it's offensive.
>>
Paying close attention to the details of the companies reveals a pattern with these execs.

They claim that the labor in America is no longer necessary. They move the labor offshore.
They secure the profit for themselves. The quality of the product declines.

Simply speaking these execs should be jailed under any reasonable framework.

the most obnoxious ones are getting raises after adding "ai engineer" title to their credentials lol. Keep getting mogged
>>
>>534400343
kekanon is 100% correct
this is ALL absoutely nothing but MBA propaganda for executives to justify business moves that destroy the fabric of our nation.

We've seen over the last 50 years, more profit, generally means worse material conditions.

>>534398989
Next month: Turns out they weren't overstaffed, they were "mismanaged" and were "under-utilizing their employees" and "leaning on monopoly and cartel market positions".
Month after that: Turns out "engineers were exagerrating capabilities to executives who were exaggerating capabilities to investors"
Month after that: "It's the energy crisis, lost all your money! nothing we can do! Iran!"
>>
>>534399543
That was always the case. That ratio will get higher as the AI becomes better, until only the owner is needed to order the robots on what to do.

it's not that simple though. You need less low level coders but more expert level devs. Also productivity gains are highly overrestimated by hypeshills unless you're coding some basic ass crud websites. i.e. jeetlabor

This. In my department of 10 people there are 3 who work only 3 of 8 hours and one guy who does basically nothing at all, no matter if he works in office or from home. Meanwhile we were refused salary increase due to high cost. I fucking hate these leeches.

I’ve been saying this for some time. I could tell early on that that way one of its purposes.
>>
>>534398989
It's a cope. According to the guy from JP Morgan AI is only estimated to give a 30% efficiency boost to those who use it, and they're still running it as a trial and awaiting a conclusion about whether it makes people work better or not.
The truth is "Headcount" was big before, and it was especially big under Inclusive Capitalism, where in order to justify the social engineering through capitalism that leads to inclusiveness, you had to make it a boon to show investors headcounts of how many works at the company. The bigger the better, but it doesn't translate to profit. It was popular because investors and corporations leaned towards the trend of Inclusive Capitalism because that's what puts you first. They have since then admitted that it's not better for economy to do Inclusive Capitalism, so the Headcount trick doesn't work. It's a failed investment. So they're using AI in part to run a smokescreen to fire all the unnecessaries who they overhired in order to cancel out Inclusive Capitalism.
>>
I know someone's uncle who worked for Germany's largest company. Said you could walk around at any time of the day and three quarters of the people were doing online shopping and or Facebook or Twitter, etc. That was 10 years ago.
>>
>>534398989
>75% overstaffed
on accidental?
>>
I'm pretty fucking sure that the tech industry is #1 in roasties going to jew daycare.
In a team of 50 people, there's probably 10 or so that take care of designing the UI/UX, 10 in marketing, 10 in sales, 10 jeets, 5 in HR and 2 in IT and 3 that actually code (frontend, backend and server)

AI will totally replace new employees. College grads in IT are functionally retarded. They can't do anything without being specifically told what to do. Why would I pay to tell someone how to do the job I pay them for when I can just pay OpenAI to do it basically as well.
>>
>>534402527
>AI is only estimated to give a 30% efficiency boost to those who use it
For me it would be like 10x but eventually you end up waiting on testers and code reviewer and approval by higher ups before you can move on to the next phase, so you gotta go back to pretending to work just like you did before AI.

I joined google in 2021.
80-90% of people there did absolutely nothing.
their job was gaming the performance review system
there have been layoffs since, but for each layoff they hired a dirt cheap indian with zero experience to do nothing
>>
>>534398989
good thing only non-indians are getting fired and considered dead weight
>>
>>534398989
Tbh, AI is not good enough to replace that many jobs on its own. Any company basing their code or business on AI alone is facing serious issues both financially and in product. Would be nice if they were honest and AI actually did the stuff they promised, but it just isn't.
>>
>>534398989
>companies overstaffed
Based on all the "women working in tech" videos I've seen, it's about time the corporate boards realized this

"AI" is just another kike Kapparot chicken, to take the blame when the jews' scam world economy fully implodes.

The guilty jews will shriek "Oy vey, goyim, you're just not smart enough to understand it's the fault of AI!" while they scurry to their bugout holes to avoid being executed.
>>
>>534399597
overstaffed actually means under-revenue'd. if they were making the revenue they thought they were going to make, those staff would be needed. but the money isn't coming in and they are making excuses. there is for sure a small % of unnessecary workers in any company, but the vast majority of those laid off are because labour costs are too high as a % of revenue because real revenue is much lower than projected revenue.
but they need to avoid saying this explicitly although every analyst knows what is going on.
>>
>>534398989
Most women work, so no shit we have a lot of fake, redundant jobs.

As someone who is an IT monkey, companies just do not want to spend a shekel on our training, expect zero downtime from changes and provide minimal support. Even with 8 years in experience I feel like I know nothing and have millions of things I can improve on or learn. But my boomer manager insist on no major changes unless an auditor says to do it. Even free changes like LAPS implementation he denies.
I simply am lacking in skills due to boomers refusing change.

Is the implication here that prior to Covid huge stores were just being generous? Fuck off with this stupid shit.
>>
>>534407449
Some of the jobs they have are in this weird circular economy too. They get money from their jewish daycare job, then they go and spend $140 at crumbl cookie, get some lip fillers and their nails done at these places that are all staffed by women. I guess us guys have a bass pro pyramid, but thats about it.
>>
>>534399597
15 years ago FAGMAN companies could get billions of dollars of money at zero interest from banks. Part of that money went to hiring every single IT professional they could find just so the competition could not have access to them.

Now that companies can't get billions of dollars at no interest and they have to find ways to make money (because AI is burning billions every day) they suddenly have to fire people.

Those 600k USD salaries for CompSci dropouts that Google was paying were absolutely ridiculous and nonsensical. They only existed due to a very specific and temporary economic situation. The 30k wages of Europe were far closer to the market's reality. The SCRUM masters making millions every year just to book meetings should've been the red flag, but apparently Americans are too stupid to realize this.

I’ve worked in these companies. For every useful white or Asian man there are 9 useless women Indians and MBAs.
Jews are unfortunately useful and necessary too in their own unique category as the lawyers and lobbyists because of their successful ethnic strategy of excluding all others from the necessary conversations. They are only willing to be reasonable with each other.
>>
>>534398989
Yeah that's what we meant by daycare jobs that keep women distracted from their biological imperative.
>>
>>534411389
Learn things on your own time retard.
IT work primary objective of smart companies is just not breaking any of the things that actually make the company money.
>>
>>534398989
The narrative before covid was that a growing company should be hiring. It's why tech was sucking people up for a very long time.

A healthy "investible" company = a hiring company.

Elon suplexed this narrative by scything Twitter into X and then a bunch of low brow corpos followed a long. The narrative changed to a tight ship narrative is investable and not the growing company.

Will this ever switch back who knows. I think you'll find new companies who have explosive grow tend to have large hiring so my guess is it will come back.

AI i think because of it's potential for destruction will always need a person to take the blame haha.
>>
>>534412633
Many autists will still be around setting up home setups more complex than every Fortune 500 company.
They won’t be credentialed enough to get hired by these retarded companies, but they will be more competent and useful.
Over the next decade as China fully takes over all industry and the dollar dies, we are going to see a renaissance of autists creating small companies that outcompete these legacy companies will thousands of roasties Indians and MBA nepotism dipshits. We’re going to see niche open source projects delete multi billion dollar legacy companies.
Download Linux as your OS. Set up your own home server. Start playing around with local AI setups. AI is going to replace all of these service industry bullshitting people that currently represent all “value” happening in America even though they are objectively just parasites. Autists plus AI are about to take over the whole American economy.
>>
>>534399543
That would be directly replacing people. No on was claiming that literally 100% of all jobs woukd disappear, but enough jobs to cause major problems.
>>
>>534398989
Every company is overstaffed, cause they got worthless departments like HR to stuff full of bitching cunts and other random nothing diversity positions.
>>
>>534398989
The overstaffing is mostly dei and women working bullshit jobs where they make 100k salary for responding to 2 emails a day or doing a power point presentation
>>
>>534416025
Have they considered using actual analysis on a case-by-case basis instead of pandering to low IQ stock gamblers who are all looking for a magic sign of a good return?
>>
>The Pareto Principle states that the top 20% of workers do 80% of the work
The company you work for knows this. No they won't pay you more for being in the top 20%. But they will let you go for being in the bottom 80%.
>>
And? Should we destroy all machines to make more jobs and manual labor? Is the point of life to work as many hours as possible?
>>
>>534411391
Not generous, compelled. They just felt they had to be open longer to compete and once they'd extended hours, they felt people would get mad if they didn't maintain those hours. Which does matter to companies that depend on customers. The Big Coof therefore provided a cover for dialing back hours since they could blame it on the government rather than taking the blame themselves;
>We're responsible fighters of China Virus
sounds much better than
>We're too greedy to keep doing the services we've done before
>>
>>534402657
So they can get experience which will allow them to become your reliable senior employees in the future.

Funny enough, this month I talked to someone at Amazon, someone from an Amazon child company, and someone form T-Mobile - and all of them, completely unprompted, started talking about being taken over by Indians.
And this is in a place where that kind of talk is usually taboo. Lefty types are even going "hey my whole company is Indian now".
And each of them said they wanted to leave their job because of that reason.
