This is my assessment of the current situation: The US is admitting it doesn't intend entering the Strait of Hormuz or the Persian Gulf. Why? Because they know their ships will be sunk immediately.

So the US is not going to wrestle control of the Strait of Hormuz from Iran.

Furthermore if the US blockade truly worked they wouldn't be sanctioning the teapot refineries in China who continue to be in receipt of Iranian oil, via of course the Strait of Hormuz and their mythical blockage.

The US military paper tiger continues to expose itself via its own actions.

i think there's going to be massive pressure from the US to keep prices stable if not dropping, in the hope that a diplo solution can be found because rising prices will indirectly weaken the US' position in negotiations. Plus imo a lot of traders are emotionatlly aligned with perma bull stock market and have long positions into infinity. >The White House, in its budget request for the 2027 fiscal year, is asking Congress to approve roughly $1.5 trillion for defense -- a record-breaking military spending request as the U.S. remains in its fifth week of war with Iran.

>That is a $445 billion, or a 42% increase from the 2026 total level, according to the White House. Non-defense spending would be then be reduced by $73 billion, or 10%, according to the budget released by the White House on Friday.

Nice diplomatic wording by Trump here
Fact is:
- Would U.S. military power have dominated, like in 1991 against Iraq, no sneak surprise-attack would be necessary. All ships could have evacuated the region

- Would U.S. military power be sufficient, the USN could have militarily opened the Strait of Hormuz or escort flotillas through it

Trump is very conveniently ignoring these responsibilities, expecting the world to play along

Iran under conditions of war and inability to control all movement at over-horizon distances has plausibly put a general blockade on a waterway strategically vital for its defense against aggression

Trump blinked first in his 'Economic Fury' campaign.
He needs the SoH to open quickly

Grammatically correct

It’s mostly understandable, but it has several grammatical and stylistic issues (capitalization, tense consistency, phrasing). Here’s a corrected version while keeping your structure and tone:

Corrected version:

Nice diplomatic wording by Trump here.
Fact is:

If U.S. military power were still dominant, like in 1991 against Iraq, no sneak surprise attack would be necessary. All ships could have evacuated the region.

If U.S. military power were sufficient, the U.S. Navy could have opened the Strait of Hormuz militarily or escorted flotillas through it.

Trump is very conveniently ignoring these responsibilities and expecting the world to play along.

emirati waters now included in official claimed iranian control zone over strait of hormuz (potentially permanent)
I think that is the key take away?

Aside the tactical implications that Iran does it because the US tried to be sneaky.
It is a major unprecedented transgression against the UAE by iran, negating their territorial claims by force.

United Arab Emirates now Iran Arab Emirates.

The US is a narco-state that works WITH drug cartels, it's been confirmed once again in another investigation ignored by US media.
>Canal Red publishes audio recordings suggesting that Hernandez would coordinate his return with support of Trump administration and Israeli financing.
>Former Honduran President Hernández, protected by Trump, stated that his pardon was achieved thanks to “the money contributed by a board of rabbis,” which is why everything he must do is in favor of the United States and Israel, to guarantee them control of the area. “And above all, guarantee a legal framework that favors artificial intelligence companies from the United States and Israel.”

yeah this is salami slicing just like the US might have done with an Op Freedom with an actual escort, except it's happening to the UAE. Will the US risk blowing up the ceasefire by intervening between Iran and the UAE? never, imo

The US kinda has to. Like with the ukraine war where the US has to keep poland happy to keep them in offensive posture.
All the other countries are only supportive behind closed doors. If the one GCC country who does it in public gets smacked the whisper of support might go mute entirely.

Iran asserting fire control over UAE ports and their territorial water in a semi permanent framework not just a one off pot shot is new.
This is a precedent and status quo that the US must counter today in a sense or bleed posture and alliances.

Except Trump isn't think about the US' interests at all, he's just focusing on what's good for his ego and his rep in the short term. The mid terms are coming closer and closer and if this doesn't get tidied up, for example, if both houses flip in a blue wave, then a removal might just be on the cards. He has to get out but he's surrounded himself with people who feed him stuff like picrel so he's getting a very rosy view of the reality. He's alienated all American First Republicans other than the people in his innermost circle. Loomer, Levin and co are going to ruin him.

how many hits on Israeli uniformed soldiers with an FPV in argentina would it take to kick off a civil war cycle? One? Two at the most.

South america was anti-zog before the ww2, here in peru we killed 6000 kikes (funny number) back in 1830 during a civil war just for fun.
And we did it again in 1930 during our fascist-era
>During the 1930s, the small community would face the increase in anti-Semitism, with the formation of the Revolutionary Union Party founded by Luis Miguel Sánchez Cerro in 1931 and directed by Luis A. Flores Medina and became an openly fascist party that was characterized by its opposition to communism, and in particular, to the Aprista Party, for xenophobia and its open anti-Semitism. Going so far as to attack Jewish-owned stores in Lima, an estimated 360 died and 800 were expelled from all of Peru. The reasons for the anti-Jewish sentiment were because they were accused of having financed the enemies of Peru (such as Bolivia, Chile, Gran Colombia, Spain and this last Ecuador) and they were called by Peruvians as anti-Peruvians, viruses, enemies, inferiors and subhumans. In 1938, the Peruvian Foreign Ministry totally prohibited Jewish Immigration to Peru.
