People just aren't logical and think free stuff magically falls from the sky. Collective attitudes are alien to the American mindset because if you don’t like how things are then there is nothing stopping you from moving to another state that has vastly different geography, local laws, and opportunities. There is nothing intrinsic about the U.S. that binds people together simply for being American; and the closest thing we really had to that was white supremacy (which still didn’t solve the cultural clashes between yankies and dixies, but it was better than nothing).

In the US "communists" were mostly seen as annoying and out of touch because living standards were good and society worked well for the most part.But gradually the US sacrificed the well-being of its citizens for geopolitical advantages. Favorable trade deals that created jobs and prosperity elsewhere in exchange for alliances against the USSR. The goal was to isolate the USSR and it worked I think. Or at least it was a significant factor in their disintegration.And then the US had no more competitor. They could have went back to improving their own society. Many problems were already creeping up. Instead they chose to go on an (unopposed) globalization crusade using the systems that they put in place to isolate and break the USSR. And all of this is expensive.The US is no longer worried about jobs and living standards in the US because there's no more threat of communism and Americans usually have nowhere else to go. There's a lot of "fake money" going around in the US to keep consumption going, but more and more it doesn't allow people to really live. They can't afford houses, children or pay for healthcare, etc. For better or for worse they still cling to the idea that they'll be able to pay for everything if they just work hard enough. For the youth it has become pure nonsense.
Because every European country is an ethnostate. Finns care about other Finns, Hungarians care about other Hungarians, Italians care about other greasy wops. You're willing to sacrifice for your extended family. In America whites have no interest in giving up their hard-earned money for some Zambo.
