Do NPCs seriously apply for hundreds of jobs?

At the times when I’ve been looking for jobs, I have probably filled out a max of 10 applications. I. Always get a job within like a month of looking. Innings to fill out more than twenty I would probably just kill myself.

Something tells me this is a city problem. You gotta be a fuckin retard to live in a major city.

Getting a real job is harder than getting hired at Dollar General, retard

lmao i was reading about how the AI the applicants use to tailor their resumes conflicts with the AI the roasties use to judge the resumes and if that happens its an instant rejection before a human even sees your file. evidently the trick to determining this is pasting your resume into Notepad or MS Word and if it comes up as anything other than plain text then the AI will reject it. could you imagine bouncing through all these humiliations for income. i'd rope. thank god for wrench
>>
>>534441181
It's difficult to get either.
>>
>>534440999
How do you even apply to 300 jobs? Just spam them? I barely have the patience to do ten applications a day.
>>
>>534440999
I'm in the same boat, but I've always been blue collar. I wouldn't want to be young now. No future. I hope they're all buying guns.
>>
>>534441181
It’s actually not if you’re in a specialized field lol
>>
>>534440999
Midwits gonna midwit.

Nice projection, I’ve got a real career and a salaried job

I left cities behind me in 2015 after spending 30yrs in them, on both coasts, Boston MA, Sacramento CA, Seattle WA, Portland OR for five years in the late 90s/early 2000s, then back to Boston. Moved to middle of nowhere NH in 2015.
I was always in your boat.
I would apply to jobs I knew I could get. I never overreached. Maybe that's a flaw of mine, never over-sold myself.
Always got several bites, within 2wks of having submitted the application.
The HR departments almost always failed me. The elderly ones actually helped me get in the door, and warned my about upcoming troubles etc. The middle agers were raging cunts, that I couldn't bow to. And was fired etc. There were no young ones. But I usually wrangled 2-5yrs of employment from them.
I think the young people think online applications are the same thing as the in person ones used to be.
I feel bad for them.
Not to sound like a boomer, but I landed a job 5yrs ago up here, because I circumnavigated their bullshit hiring loophole hellscape, by driving to the office, and showing up in person. Dude gave me a tour of the place and told me he would call me. I assumed, nope, that's done. He did and I landed the stupid job.
Maybe it's a fucking crapshoot now.
I am glad to be fucking done with it soon.

>>534440999
Its all about who you know. I have never not gotten the job I applied for because i have always worked previously with or was friends with the hiring manager. This requires you to work hard and be good at your vocation, social with coworkers. The idea is they already know how well you work so its an instant hire.
>>
>>534440999
I’ve done one job interview in my entire life.
I make 200k/yr.

The low value applicant gets interviewed. The high value applicant interviews the employer. Even if both applicants are worthless NEETS a charismatic one will always be chosen over a peevish beggar.

I graduated in 2007 and found a job after applying to 5 jobs. If you apply to like 100+ jobs with no catches the problem is you.
>>
>>534441181
I’m in construction management, it’s retardedly easy to get hired with a salary of like 90-120k if you’re not a dumbass.

The bitch has an art degree and thinks she can be CEO, hence her stupid TikTok dance video for a job.
>>
>>534442176
Gloating on the interwebs doesn't have the impact you think it does. You can't tell anyone details, or you'll be doxxed. No one can verify what you've said. You can literally say anything. Besides, I've only filled out half an application, and I make ten million a year, so I win the internet.
>>
>>534440999
Honestly, I don't think I've ever gotten more than 6 job applications submitted before landing a job.

>Absolutely seething
absolutely retarded
your post reflects your own mood over the joking nature in which my posts were offered. I can tell you're adapting to internet culture, but I don't think you have the intelligence or thelife experience to really apply even the most useless tactics successfully.
>>
>>534442565
Well you’ll just have to trust me then. I’m an actuary, the interview was for a summer internship and I continued working there. Before that I worked at my dad’s job.
>>
>>534442176
Never done a job interview in my life, make $10mm/yr briefly highlighting one cell in Excel every week. No idea why so many people have problems.
>>
>>534440999
>At the times when I’ve been looking for jobs, I have probably filled out a max of 10 applications.

>>
>>534443196
I was just giving you a hard time, anyway. If you want to prove it to me, we'll have to meet up. I'll need to see your books and accounts. Hahahaha. I don't really care. I don't care about people who literally make ten million, either. Touting unprovable anecdotal evidence as determing a pattern is irrational.
>>
>>534440999
>Always get a job within like a month of looking
and what job would that be, kike?
>>
Haven't had an interview in like 15 years
pretty much every hire has been word of mouth or a nepo hire. I do feel bad for hs grads having to compete with infinity shitskins for min wage jobs here
>>
>>534443351
If you're referring to my post, it was a joke. I make good money, but worked my ass off in a very niche field and had to apply to probably 30+ jobs last time I looked. And luck was definitely part of it.
>>
>I make 6 figs
>skill issue
>works on my machine
>fuck you I got mine

That's only thing I get out of people anecdotally say they're successful on 4chan. See it all the time. People screetch about jews all day but won't bat an eye when the system benefits them. Kinda niggerish.
>>
I've given up and am on welfare. I have a DUI that means I can't get hired. Don't care either. Biggest concern is what food to buy each week and nightwalks routes. I got so scammed when young and successful that I lost hope in the system I tried to be part of. Indians and an actual tranny lawyer that was a meth head psycho helped that.
>>
>>534443526
Pretty much. Just because you've landed a good gig does not mean there isn't a huge issue. Same with the unemployed email job girls. Just because they don't have marketable skills doesn't mean people who are don't experience unwarranted problems. They absolutely do, and it's getting worse.
>>
>>534440999
any job with working has hundreds of applicants. i'm a senior manager in accounting at a big jewish corporation. the last opening i hired for had like 100 applicants within 1 week of posting. the job ended up going to an internal hire.
>>
>>534440999
The job market is brutal right now, I literally applied to 30 different jobs last week and didn't hear back from any of them. The way it works is that AI replaced HR and it essentially auto rejects 99% of candidates based on bullshit criteria then for the 1% of candidates the AI writes pros and cons summary for each candidate and then hiring people just glance over your cons and if they don't like any of them they just delete your resume. I've seen the same places post the same job offers for MONTHS despite a lot of people I know who are qualified applying.
>>
>>534443625
Botched this post due to massive stress, but anybody reading gets my fucking point. Shit is fucked.

And that’s barring the fact that we all know you’re a fat virgin larping at Ma’s all day.

For a good job? Yes. I'd like to get 2-3 non-phone remote jobs, but i don't have the qualifications and they dont pay more than $16/hr.
>>
>>534441709
He’s talking about ATS style resumes. Many companies run your resume through an AI scanner to pick up keywords and will auto reject you if resume isn’t 100% compliant with their AI system and no human will ever know or see your resume at that point
>>
>>534443625
I hate employment. It's too rigid.
I'm in a mostly white small city and I prefer to deliver goyslop in my $400 car over a real job, and it pays better than a real job from 5-9 pm.
But now that fuel is absurdly expensive the money isn't as good, still better than sheckleberg. Construction gigs are fun, sometimes. Big city corporate jobs sound like a nightmare tho. Imagine diving more than 45 minutes to get away from all people in national forest land. What do you even do after work on weekdays? Mow your lawn, watch goyball and drink IPA? Gives me the ick

Job market is fucked, try applying for a new job now
The software market has been hit mega hard
