I'm curious when it started to seem that way for americas.
For me in europe it started being full of AI slop and obvious propaganda right when Trump was elected last year. It was like a weird shift. But I never saw many muricans react to it.
But just recently a lot of you have been complaining about this and I wonder if it only started seeming that way after the Iran invasion.

If that's the case, then it's clear the the algorithms are being configured for Geopolitical effect and we're all being directed in ways some puppetmaster wants.

The waves ebbed and flowed, you never want to be signed into a YouTube account, just know what you want. YouTube algo has always sucked ass. The reason it was fun was you would get completely random video suggestions tangentially related to the subject you were watching. So it could be used for discovery. But it hasn't been that good in a while, sometimes it will break and shit out and old viral video where all the comments are months old of people going "this is random"

But yeah I don't use YouTube unless I know exactly what I'm looking for. I did let it recommend a 600 view a video farming channel though
