The only thing to note about Florida is that the very microsecond the government broke up the Broward County vote-rigging scheme, Florida went hard red. That 3am ballot dump for (((Nikki Fried))) was the final straw. Naturally, Fried now runs the DNC in Florida.

Like the race based districts that were struck down and allowed for the redistricting now, at least one was signed in by a republican who announced it was done to represent black Americans in the state. Iirc that was Louisiana. Easy ammunition to strike it down when it reached the courts, which is why it was dragged out for around 3-4 years. The Virginia case gaining notice probably gave a lot of hesitant republican states some cover to act, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more bite into it whether it's this cycle or the next. Dems probably should have factored in these districts getting tossed years ago but had their nog worshipping cranked up around 2020-2021 too high to think about easy setup being presented to a higher court right in front of them.
