Does posting bullying videos on social media risk breaking that high trust?>In January, a widely shared video showed a male student at a prefectural high school in Tochigi Prefecture, north of Tokyo, punching another student. The footage, which quickly circulated online, led prosecutors in Utsunomiya to refer the student to family court on suspicion of causing bodily injury.>In the case of Oita, three separate videos showing violence among junior high school students were identified and all designated as serious bullying incidents under the Act for the Promotion of Measures to Prevent Bullying.>In Osaka, another video circulated widely showing an elementary school boy being pushed into the sea while playing near a waterfront area with other elementary and junior high school students.>Mieko Miyata, the head of a non-profit research institute specializing in children's safety, pointed to the widespread use of smartphones and social media as a key factor.>"Students can now easily film and share such incidents," Miyata said. "The closed environments in which bullying once took place are no longer the norm.">Attorney Mami Takeyama said that online posts targeting individuals in such videos are highly likely to constitute crimes or human rights violations in their own right. "Once footage is shared, it cannot be fully erased, creating long-term risks for both victims and perpetrators," she said.>Takeyama urged those who experience or witness bullying or violence to report it to schools or police rather than posting it online, saying this is critical to resolving incidents appropriately and preventing further harm caused by the rapid spread of information on social media. https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20260501/p2g/00m/0na/026000c
Bullies aren't trustworthy If you trust them anyway then I guess you technically live in a high trust society but unearned trust isn't worth much so it's not worth bragging about

We should definitely start to bully gays
>>534475746>Bullies aren't trustworthy Why? They're the ones maintaining the high trust.
>>534476070I guess maybe you could argue something like>You can trust me to always be this much of a dick to youBut again that's faint praisePlus a lot of bullying involves abusing trust
>>534476202No, bullies aren't bullying random nobodies. They're bullying social "outcasts" who won't contribute to the society. As long as you're actually contributing to society, you have no reason to worry.
Bullying is low trust behaviour, people are more likely to sell out to outsiders to get rid of tyrannical behaviour, Japan is a US vassal.
>>534476394>No, bullies aren't bullying random nobodies. That's actually fairly typical of bulliesBullies aren't high-minded moral police patrolling for anyone breaking the mold, more often they're just hoping that bullying someone will make themselves seem impressive in some way
In japanese bullying culture students in middle school often get swept into co bullying others due to perr pressure / thinking it's the saner optionIt says a lot about general adult society too how they believe whatever media feeds them. In middle school japan bullying is such a serious problem they made many series and movies on it. Similar to death due to overwork in japan. A few years ago there was a case in Hokkaido where some middle school boys and girls beat up and raped and killed a girl several times. Depressing stuff. I cancelled my japan plans after that
High trust societies have always been brain drains. Modern intellectuals have always been the hippie weirdo freak outcasts of the last generation. High trust society is for women and chad only.
>>534476723Because they aren't the smartest or the brightest, they do a good job at enforcing the status quo. >lets laugh at the kid who shows to school in the trench coat looking like he's from the matrix.
This leads to eventual centrallized control where even someone pushing someone else gets reborted to police. Then all men become pussies and society collapses. Moral of the story: when government attempts to control every tiny detail of society, society dies by strangulation.
