Do you remember swine flu of 2009?
I don't remember anyone saying it's fake or disbelief in any way comparable to 2020.

/pol/ has said it was fake, and posted a correlation between the rollouts of 3G, 4G, and 5G cell phone towers with sudden epidemic flu outbreaks.
>>
>>534511107
Barely. I remember it being in the news with no real world effects.
>>
I laughed at muh swine flu, just as I laughed at muh covid. We're living in a simulation, and I ignore whatever TV says. This entire century.

I caught something that year, doctor gave me drugs, they are the same as for people with h.i.v.
Straight in the bin with them.
Drank some rum and went to bed.

You did well to do so.

The internet was fairly young. Youtube was only 3-4 years old.
>>
>>534511107
the Democrats like Nancy Pelosi said Covid was fake and to go hug Chinks at a NYC chink festival.

People bought the lie.

We didn’t shut down the world and force clot shots on everyone for the swine flu

I had h1n1 and I also had covid.

Swine flu was the worst flu I ever had.

The difference between it and every other time ive had the flu was the nausea and inability to keep down both food and liquids. Had to go to er to get pumped full of saline.

Covid was a runny nose, loss of taste, and minor fatigue for a week.
>>
>>534511208
Yep. Just like covid 19.
>>
>>534512837
Incorrect. Covid19 made shit annoying as hell in real life, but because of people's actions in response to it rather than the virus itself.

Because Swine flu was probably just an actual natural species jump for a virus. Where some people did get sick but then the virus adapted to its new host. Contrary to what you might see in hollywood movies, viruses don't wipe out species. They're better thought of as parasites that are just using your cell to make more of themselves. Being efficient at killing their hosts means they replicate less, and so the ones that don't do that, that might spread easier, are the versions that "win out", evolution at work.

We know that the coronavirus that was released in China came from a lab. You can see the inserts they added from HIV. You can see the sequence from the Moderna patent. In the early days it was also very easily destroyed by UV light, which wouldn't be present in a lab setting.

But what was absolutely telling about there being not one, but repeated releases, was when you saw that the "new variants" had worse symptoms. Even a genetically engineered virus (crossed from bat coronavirus) might kill humans because they're not adapted to humans, but there would come a point where it should get less lethal and less severe over time as it spreads. What we saw was "new variants" that had in some cases worse symptoms. We'd expect that to happen if someone was releasing these edited viruses in such a way that they were still dangerous like the specious jump or just engineered to be that way, and to also potentially bypass natural immunity (make enough changes so it looks different to the immune system). This isn't as difficult as people might think, you can easily sequence a coronavirus that's causing flus in humans and splice in changes for things like the spike protein and so on. In fact if you knew that's what the vaccines would be getting your immune system to target, you would in fact know to make this change.

I'm not sure how well swineflu spread. I think the deliberate splicing of a flu-like virus means it could spread easier in the population.

AoC also claimed that she would refuse to take the Trump vaccine because it could not be trusted.

They played the public.

"It's a Trump vaccine!"
Righties = "Yaayyy I'm maga, I'll take it!"
Leftists = "I'm not taking that crap!"

Then later "It's a Biden vaccine!"

Righties "I aint taking that shit!"
Leftists "Yay, get jabbed or lose your job and go to the camps!"

Because covid was obviously played up to target Trump. It was a media driven hit job and everyone with a brain knows it.

I didn't take it during either administration, as I'm not a turbofaggot.
