I have quite a few autists in my family and as a kid it was painfully obvious. This isn’t the “UwU autism” kinda things, like they would barely say a word, were constantly super quiet, and would get extremely obsessive over certain interests to like an absurd degree. Like half these fuckers should be on my strange addictions because like they would bring up their special interest CONSTANTLY. Had this guy who was a renowned chess champion, would ONLY talk about chess. Another guy was a brony, and would relate everything to an episode of the show (this was before the newer generations by the way, so he would bring up these like 80s episodes), and the one thing they all shared in common was having no love life, and rarely a stable job. Most had to rely on their parents, and were basically completely disfunctional.So it’s weird to see people romanticize this shit that basically corrupted like a quarter of my family
