The lawsuit is because the lid can pop off and hit you in the eye so as long as you don't shoot yourself in the fucking eye when popping off the lid, you should be fine.
>>
I saw the recall about 3 or 4 days ago and got worried but
Basically if your let your food rot and ferment it just builds up pressure then when you go to open it, the top could shoot out due to all the pressure.

Reminds me of the recall on the RX-8, if you drove "spirited" or turned it on and revved it for a long time on high dry grass it could cause a fire.

Meanwhile cheapo lithium batteries are A-ok. Except for flying, or shipping, but ok in your house
>>
>>534523036
oh kek you're right looked it up, this is kinda silly but i guess a true oversight in manufacture
>>
Back when I was in elementary school, I heard that a thermos exploded in the middle of a class-session. Some pupil had milk in it and left it to spoil and rot and then gasses built up until... BOOM! What a stench it must have been.
>>
Humans and pressure vessels are always a funny combo.

I used to put soda pop in mine and bring it to D&D. When I unscrewed the cap I could use that fucker like a gun and everyone would get scared at the bang

>THROWING THEIR CORPORATE LEADERS IN JAIL
they execute them
they don't even need to be corrupt, just vocal against the party, and they get the jack ma treatment and have to live out their early retirement like a pauper.
it's a good deal for both china and the rest of the world, since china gets to pretend it is virtuous and the rest of the world gets a boost to their gdp from rich chinks fleeing with as much cash and assets as they can embezzle.

Soda used to instruct you not to open near your eyes. I swear soda bottles used to have a warning.
>>
>>534523322
I grew up in a shitty farmhouse full of flies, and they would divebomb into any drink you left out for more than 2 minutes. So my dad bought these plastic caps that you can press onto a soda can, but the pressure releasing from the carbonation would build up and eventually send the cap flying to the ceiling and you’d have to look around for it for 5 minutes while guarding your knock off Dr.Pepper from the suicidal flies.

How the fuck do you unscrew a cap under pressure without holding it at an angle and using both hands to hold + twist it? Getting it to pop you in the head sounds like Darwinism.
>>
>>534522897
Did you eat from it yet ?
>>
>>534524302
depending on the pressure you will likely punch yourself in the face while still holding the lid

Being fair, though, the lids of a brand like Thermos, a brand once famous for quality, should not really be popping off on their own in the first place, though, no?

Until shouted down and proven wrong, though, I will still maintain that it is the fault of the brain-dead chinks that built them. I know, call me crazy, right?
>>
>>534522757
These were Americans I take it?
Simple things do confuse them.
>>
>>534524767
Not if you're holding it at an angle. If you're trying to unscrew it with it standing straight up on a flat surface, maybe.

>Rx8 was a fun car but a bitch to maintain

Miss mine too, only had it about 8 years before at around 160k miles the apex seal decided it had enough and tried to exit through the cat.
Other than that and some ignition coils no real problem on the car (well I had to replace the oil fan as it was bad and blowing fuses), and the typical first year problems (rear left? headlight had condensation, coolant chamber float not working).
Tires of course were expensive and fuel economy was laughable.
Back row was only usable by a 4 year old, and they got a 3 inch high up window, that could only be folded an inch out.

Miss it but replaced it with a CX-5 and gained about 50% MPG (until a deer totaled it at 180k and I got another CX-)

The problem is they use these fraud crackdowns as ways to settle scores and purge their elites. Happens a lot with the generals, who all grift. But since most of our CEO’s really are part of the cabal through bloodlines, marriage or indoctrination, maybe that’s not so bad…
>>
>>534524813
They aren't popping off on their own, the pressure buildup is so high from rotten shit fermenting that it goes off like a champagne cork after being shaken and the cork being loosened by someone.

You could argue there should be a blowoff valve but that would require some more engineering, complexity, it would be a pain to clean, lead to mold, would reduce the insulating properties to a degree, and I don't believe any of the classic ones ever had it either.

>le corporate leaders

Lmao, the only people going to jail are the people that forgot to pay the CCP tax (bribe) and most of those public giant corpos in China are literally propped up by government tax subsidies and they also hire the least amount of people in the country. It’s a joke out there.
>>
>>534522757
>limp waisted morons can't unto physics and remember that hot beverages and foods release steam and can't grip stopper as they unscrew it
I'm all against corporations but why the fuck would you want a pressure relief valve that will inevitably leak in the top of your thermos? Just fucking slowly loosen it, release the pressure and then fully remove the top. Fucking lysol generations are such dumbass babies.

Sometime back, a Chinese company got caught after deliberately poisoning 300,000 chink babies, and with a batch of dead ones. A couple of their leaders got a .35 pistol shot in the head afterwards, but 2 years later, the same company was caught doing it again.

They are not wired like you and me, monsieur. They genuinely are bug-people, much like Jews, and people really need to understand these things if they are to survive, imo.

>>534526043
They are actually wired exactly like us because we both don't want a billion chinks. The difference is they literally have been doing some about it for like 50 years... So ya we are not the same we both want less chinks but the only people putting that into practice are chinks.... Explain how we are better while importing millions of jeets... I'll wait

No, anon, they’re are just chinks living like chinks in their own chink environment. This isn’t on purpose, they eat each other because its all their government hammered into their heads for generations. They are already a danger to anything around them like niggers. Hell, read about their old Red Guard boomers who are retired now and being the worst tourists in history.

lol. Sorry, I didn't catch that part.
>courd someone prease carcurate the pressure of 2 cubic atmospheres of fermented kimchi in a 1 cubic atmosphere-designed metar containar?

Still sounds like a chinkish problem, though. Imagine Clem, out on his farm tractor, getting his fucking eye blown out due to his wife's chicken soup exploding. To me, that would be suspicious, and I would even check to see if she might be Russian, and what I did to piss her off.
>>
>>534526791
No faggot. One child policy. They're are literally less retarded than you
>>
Why did this never happen before? Fucking chink liveleak Looney Tunes physics are starting to get infused into the actual manufacturing materials

>>534527125
>One child policy
Literal retardation. There's a surplus if men wreaking havoc in China and they are all trying to figure out how to get some money and leave, anywhere, so long as they don't have to be there.
It's so bad that Chinese mainlanders have been caught doing birth tourism on the Northern Mariana Islands to gain US citizenship/nationality.
