In just today, Samsung rose by about 15%, and the KOSPI index rose by about 7%.

I can understand the rise for Samsung since it is a global conglomerate, but the problem is that they are buying up other Korean stocks in massive quantities as well.

There is even a stock that rose 30% in a single day, but I have never even heard of that company.

It seems like these crazy foreign investors treat Korean stocks like casino cards...

Samsung's stock price surge is also abnormal. Imagine if Nvidia or Google's stock prices rose 15% in a single day. Samsung even rose about 5% on Monday. That means Samsung went up 20% in just two days. This is not a normal stock price increase.

It seems like all the foreigners buying Korean stocks this week are high on drugs?
>>
>>534533180
werent you telling pol last week to buy Korean stocks? that is kind of your fault

The national government funds are buying the stocks because Lee Jae myeong ordered them to do so or else while foreigners dumping korean market. It's on the GoldmanSachs report.

Fuck, since this thread was created, Samsung's stock price has risen 0.5% and already surpassed 15%. Rising 0.5% in less than 30 minutes? This is pure madness!!!!!
>>
M2 money supply in korea. This is why our currency is melting down and stock prices are running up. In a global macro perspective this is not sustainable and the market will react making 2000 won per dollar possible. This is just like venezuela. I dont know why this retard push people to buy korean stocks

I looked it up, and while Koreans sold as much as $500 million and Korean institutions sold $2.3 billion worth of stocks, foreigners are currently buying $3.1 billion worth—six times that amount.

Even Koreans aren't buying stocks anymore, so why are foreigners buying like this? Did someone promote this?

GoldmanSachs and other jewish investment establishments think kospi will hit 8000. Just read the news retard..

>US was supposed to be safe heaven but not anymore.
Still is tbqh, isolated from global conflicts by ocean. Yes, there's all sorts of fuckery the government does, but unlike the rest of the world you have to actively try to screw up in the US to really mess up, and even then setbacks are only temporary, look how fast they bounced back from the great depression (which is why there'll never be a second crash that severe, these days everyone knows crash means buy which causes crashes to get caught before they get too bad). It has every natural resource and the biggest and best farmland in the world.

Even with all the spics and jeets and niggers and jews it's still in a great position. Why aren't you investing in North America?
>>
it's asset liquidation after a hostile takeover. your country is on an irreversible path downwards. investors will pump and dump your economy into insolvency

How exactly are foreigners ruining the Korean stock market? I can't buy shit from there without paying an insanely high courtage fee. There aren't even any Korean index funds to buy. At least the Japanese have good index funds, but Korea doesn't have anything.
>>
>>534533495
yeah. financial and real estate markets in dubai faces significant crashes since start of the war. i predict they'll eventually go back up though
>>
>>534536353
If foreigners continue to buy Korean stocks and drive up prices, Koreans will follow suit and buy as well.

The problem is that a significant portion of them will likely borrow money to buy.

Koreans generally do not invest in stocks. Stock prices remained stagnant for over 20 years until foreigners began buying Korean stocks like crazy.

However, if Koreans follow suit by borrowing money to buy stocks after seeing foreigners drive prices up, and the market subsequently collapses, the damage will be indescribable.

>>534534721
Nah bro... This is just the beginning. Samsung and Hynix are still undervalued. Their P/E ratios are 6~7. They could grow two to three times larger than they are now.
>>
>>534536903
Perhaps Koreans should start buying stock then. People need to realize you'll never get rich from just working, stock investments are necessary to leave wageslave hell. Pensions should be invested into the stock market, all your savings except an emergency fund should be invested into the stock market. Sounds like Koreans need to learn some basic financial literacy.
>>
>>534533180
it's the consequences of printing retarded amounts of money.
eventually (if not outright immediately), most of it ends up in the hands of people who have no additional running expenses they could incur, and to save the money from inflation, they have to put it into the stock market.
the US companies are already pumped up to retarded amounts, so they need to find somewhere else that looks somewhat promising and does not yet have a P/E of 200
>>
>>534537924
True, getting rich off finance sounds great on paper. But you need to understand that the memory semiconductor industry is extremely cyclical and usually peaks within 5 years. Doing "wageslave" work is boring but borrowing money to bet on a volatile cycle is how people end up homeless. If we had stable industries like your European utilities then everyone would jump in. But here it is just a cycle of a few good years followed by years of stagnation. Betting your life on that kind of instability is just plain risky.
>>
>>534539010
Now I'm no expert on Korean banks, but surely they offer global index funds? You shouldn't just invest into the Korean market, but the global market as well. Historically global index funds offer a good return on investment for a low risk. No reason not to invest in them.
