most ancient knowledge survived outside of western europe, especially in the byzantine. avicenna and averroes transmitted and interpreted aristotle, for example. most classical texts re-entered western europe from arabic translations. maintaining latin doesn't mean the church gets credit for all later intellectual progress. latin does survive as a scholarly language, but that's all it is, a medium, not the source of ideas. most of the science and philosophy you're talking about developed in greek, arabic and later vernacular, not latin, which was primarily used for worshiping kikes. plenty of foundational thinkers weren't christfags in any meaningful doctrinal sense. spinoza, hume, nietzche. galilei spent half has life arguing with christfag churches who thought they were right about muh heavens. the chinks, jeets, sandniggers all made major contributions to maths, astronomy, medicine, blah, blah. none of which depended on jew worship at all. even within europe, progress usually came from tension within the religious authority, not just "because" of it. muh "atheists producted nothing" is a historically illiterate statement. the concept of an "atheist" as we use it today didn't even in exist in ancient rome, silly billy. you can't retroactively apply modern identity categories and then declare one group useless.
