In Obama years America was widely loved across the world. America's allies loved America. America's traditional adversaries loved America even. Maybe not governments but the people. And yes even many great overtures were made here to Laos and Cuba etc. which was world changing and showed it's time to put the past behind.

Then Trump came... now America is seen as psychopaths. This meant so much to Laos, how he apologized and said let's build a good future together:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZXHhhY65wo

Trump would never be able to communicate like that.

No surprise you got conquered by Pakistanis.
Trump killed 3 birds with 1 stone here
>OPEC
Fragmentation of OPEC means that oil becomes a competitive commodity again instead of the fixed rates system that they established. This means better prices for everybody.
>BRICS cucking
BRICS is an enemy of the United States and wants to become a new ruling order. Their plan was to have Russia establish dominion over all of Europe and North Africa, while China would control all of Asia. Vassal nations like Iran and Venezuela were meant to serve as proxies for control and influence. Russia jumped the gun and killed itself without much pushing (which China probably didnt mind all that much because it gives them an in to start buying out Russia), but China had hopes to do things differently. Iran being drawn out like this exposes Chinese technology as entirely fake and made only for AI videos on tiktok, and also highlights how incredibly weak BRICS really is.
>breaks Iranian ambitions
Iran had goals to conquer the entire Middle East (they even now try to claim parts of Oman) but as we can see, were easily shattered militarily and the IRGC is now fighting an existential war for its very survival as rulers over Iran.

We are not in OPEC. OPEC has been an oil export competitor and can collectively price control. UAE leaving throws a wrench into that.
>America lost hard and softpower in the whole world
That's objectively false. We brought the IRGC to its knees with a single aircraft carrier. This conflict in the Straits is not even flexing 5% of our total strength. You are living in a delusion of spite.
>China doesnt give a fuck
China's entire image depends on their perception on social media platforms like tiktok and Twitter, watching all of their technology get swept aside is a major blow to that image.
>Iran was pretty much on a constant verge of collaps
And now it is a guarantee. The IRGC can barely organize a coherent military strategy, they have already alienated themselves from every single one of their neighbors and had to institute draconian censorship laws including locking out the entire internet indefinitely for the entire country. Thats not sustainable at all unless they want to become an irrelevant circus country like North Korea. Good for memes and nothing else.

Trump had 8 weeks to run Epic Fury without needing approval from Congress. That time is expiring soon, and thats why the blockade and ship escort/guiding programs began, which do not need congress approval. However Trump can start ANOTHER operation, call it for example Epic Fury 2 Bugaloo, and again have the 8 weeks period without congress approval.

What you however are not comprenending, is that it is IRAN which is threatening international transit through Hormuz, and it is IRAN which is attacking the neighboring Gulf states. That is NOT the USA doing that.

And we did more threats of infrastructure destruction than actual destruction, they aren't huddling in the dark. I'm saying the average normie trump voter by the end of 2020 had no indication that he would turn into such a blatant Israel shill. Of course if you've been here for years and know exactly what to look for you can spot it, and already know that every US president is controlled by Israel. I'm saying there was nothing about his first term that would make his base believe he was such a blatant Israel shill, besides maybe the fact that he had a lot of jews in his cabinet, but the average normie wouldn't have picked up on that in 2016=2020. Reminder: It was the war in Gaza that started getting people to notice what a piece of shit Israel really is, the complete and total shilling of Israel by the GOP to really open peoples' eyes, and the war in Iran was the final straw that turned even a good portion of hid base against him. Nothing like that happened during his first term.

>That's right, how many military bases did we flee?
We didn't flee any bases, in fact Iran hasn't even taken a single foot of ground since they started shooting their neighbors. They failed to even sink a single civilian ship despite dumping drones on them.
>did more threats of infrastructure destruction than actual destruction
Yeah, obviously. It's a tactic to avoid more escalation by gradually increasing the amount of destruction we inflict. Chinese defense tech doesn't work and the IRGC know they are at our mercy. This is why they apologized to their neighbors and scaled back operations while we continue to present diplomatic options to them.
>They were never chummy with the Sunni
Politics isn't about actual friendship it's about deals. And Iran got baited into breaking all of them and led to UAE leaving OPEC which pretty much spells the end of OPEC as an oil exporting cartel if UAE can now just ignore their price regulations. And this swings the advantage to our favor because we can push high production and low cost oil, which UAE signaled is also their intention, which then forces OPEC to either adapt or lose sales.

The moment he started weighing in on politics, it was always to spread pure bullshit into the conversation. Because that's his sole natural talent, the Art of the Bullshitting.

You got bullshitted by someone who's been bullshitting his entire life, your one grace is that he's bullshitted much smarter than you.
But halfway through his first term it was more than apparent that he was totally bullshitting you; voting for him 2 more times is unforgivable. Never vote again, it's not safe.

We didnt strategically abandon anything. We have a massive military presence in the Gulf which Iran can do nothing about. You need to getting your info from Indian Twitter accounts. We have destroyed a metric fuck ton Iranian military to the point the IRGC censored casualty reports, banned the internet, and instituted a huge crackdown against the Iranian people. Please elaborate, anon.
>>
>>534558033
OPEC is a group of oil producing nations that work as a cartel to define oil prices and production limits. It's a shared investment. With UAE leaving they lose that collective power to enforce this because now UAE can just undercut them.
>>
>>534558043
According to Iranian government sources, but in reality all it did was piss off their neighbors and alienated them.
>>
>>534558115
The benefits are for the consumer. Because OPEC could control both the supply and the demand and set whatever price they wanted. Now they can't do that anymore unless they drop prices and up production.

Anyone who produces can undercut OPEC. There's always been cheat within OPEC who would defy them and keep poomping while the Saud called for cuts. Russia can (and has) undercut OPEC, and they are a lot more meaningful than UAE.
American frackers were disrupting oil price speculation until the Saud started flooding the market and caused a lot of them to default on their loans. Which is why the Permian and the Saud started meeting to establish quotas.
You've probably memory-holed the Saud calling for American production cuts in the aftermath, and Trump agreeing to them, then further cutting because Mexico wouldn't cooperate.

This whole "UAE left, OPEC is finished!" shit is wishful thinking. They weren't a Soviet satellite State.
>>
>>534558134
>OPEC is a group of oil producing nations
So, a conglomerate of energy producers?
>The benefits are for the consumer.
Explain how rising profits of private companies are to the benefit of the consumer. I am very eager.

Curious on elaboration there too.
>>
>>534558312
>Anyone who produces can undercut OPEC.
That's not true for OPEC countries. You're really trying to pretend that UAE leaving is inconsequential? The depths of cope you are willing to go are insane.
>Russia can (and has)
Russia can't and won't because they committed suicide as a Federation banging their head against a wall in Ukraine.
>>
>>534558341
>Explain how rising profits of private companies are to the benefit of the consumer.
Oil was never a free commodity. OPEC could set high prices and trickle production. They can't do that anymore. Your opinion on companies earning money is not relevant. Communism was tried and failed terribly because it was unable to produce enough for its own people and also failed to be competitive for a long list of reasons.
>>
>>534558247
>The benefits are for the consumer
Imagine saying this with a straight face. We have spent the literal last fifty years since the oil crisis upping our own domestic production. We have the ability to just fucking produce more ourselves -- all of our oil companies are sitting on massive reserves which are too expensive to produce from until prices rise...

Oh, but about that last part... guess who just announced that they're actually not going to increase production at all? Yup. And why would they? Their costs have stayed stable while the price of oil has doubled.

My point here is that you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY in which Americans are coming out ahead here...

... unless they own oil companies or insider trade on Trump's endless vacillation insanity.

Horseshit, the Saud have had to deal with members not following the joint strategy on several occasions. They aren't chained to it, and each of them have their own national interests. It's a club, not a prison.
>Muh Ukraine
Has nothing to do with nothing, beyond Ukrainians plinking their infrastructure.
>>
>>534558545
You are desperate to try and claim we won't benefit but that's not relevant. Now we will see high production and low cost exports, which the UAE is already moving towards in addition to investing a fuck tons of money in completely new infrastructure. Iran on the other hand lost the ability to even repair bridges.
>>
>>534558564
Great for the Saudis, but now they'll have to make OPEC more competitive if they want to play in the global market now.

a private company not scaling production when demand is high is choosing short-term profit over long term growth and increased market share. why wouldn't the price fixing you're accusing them of have happened any time before? why didn't domestic oil just stop producing to bump the price up and make more money? the answer is it didn't because it makes zero sense, financially or even fucking mathematically. seething about le oil man as if his greedy profit schemes are a driving interest in the war and global oil trade, and wishful thinking that it would somehow disappear in a vacuum, is short-sighted first order thinking. supply went down because a big chunk of it was forcibly removed, and prices went up because we have a globalized market. it's seriously that simple, don't dress it up in your favorite boogeyman.
back to opec, the essential goal of a cartel is artificial market distortion via collusion. there are laws against this in the west that opec is not beholden to yet even your favorite greedy oilmen are. breaking a literal cartel down is leveling the playing field and increasing competition no matter how you look at it, and those two things indisputably lower prices.

>>534560601
>why wouldn't the price fixing you're accusing them of have happened any time before?
Because they couldn't get away with it.
>why didn't domestic oil just stop producing to bump the price up and make more money?
Because they couldn't get away with it.

They're getting away with it right now, aren't they? I get that you have speculations on how the oil market will behave. I think they're over-extrapolated based on available evidence (one member leaving does not a cartel break) but I understand it.

What would you say to Americans who, in this totally-fucking-avoidable interim period -- where many will lose their houses, their apartments, their healthcare, even their lives -- are going to have a really fucking hard time because these massively raised oil prices are coinciding with tax cuts on the rich, tariffs, and decreased access to social programs?

And, for the record, I'm still not seeing you make a good argument for how Americans actually BENEFIT from any of this. Sure, the state might get some geopolitical breathing room (but probably not as much as you want) with OPEC. I'm just not seeing how Americans will come out ahead here. Maybe you can help me see the vision.

The US is a shopping mall run by a PR department. Trump is a creature of that habitat, which happens to be a stagnant cesspool. Trump himself is more like Ronald McDonald than an actual person. The "rebrand" from "epic fury" thing to current "project freedom" thing is exactly the type of fake and gay bullshit that creatures here produce. Nothing changed in the real world. It's like if Pepsi kept the same recipe and started calling themselves, Niggerfluid, or something. In reality, what happened was that Trump ran into the limit of The War Powers Resolution of 1973, which gives him a 60 day limit to do his "overseas contingency operation" or whatever they're calling it, anything but "war". That's too simple and clear for the bullshit artists, who are currently "losing" the "war", regardless of what we call it. It's so bad for them that they are making the old "Trudeau" quote (when you kill your enemies they win), almost look valid. They've killed their enemies, yet they are losing.

Anyhow, the mall is full of scammers peddling their wares who are being robbed by niggers and the PR department is full of insane jews, and all a normal person can do is HONK. But if you want some good news? Picrel.
