Food prices are already bad, but they are only going to get worse in the coming years. So do yourself a favor and GROW SOME YOURSELF. If you plant some fruit/nut trees/shrubs/vines NOW and maybe start raising livestock, you will save yourself a lot of grief.

Ever had jujube? When eaten fresh, it's like an apple with a slight caramel taste. If left on the tree, it natural dries up for long term storage and makes a fantastic tea.

My north England garden is 12ft by 30ft north facing.I grow rhubarb, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, fig, chives, mint, thyme, rosemary, potatoes and flowers.I use activated charcoal soaked in years old compost using filtered water.
planting fruit trees makes sense. zero maintenance. the other stuff is back breaking labor.
