Yes. I used to eat much more red meat than I do now simply because it's tripled or quadrupled in price in just the last 6 fucking years. I'm not making 3 times as much money either and rent/utilities keep going up too. At least I don't have to commute to work.

I eat as much meat as I want but I have to compromise due to the recent insane price hikings, therefore I'm not having a ribeye every week but once or twice each month, then I buy chicken and turkey which are still cheap, veal heart is cheap and tastes like a steak with a bit more chew, then second choice cuts to braise and pressure cook. Lamb when on sale, the same goes for duck.
