My friend has cut down 6 of these so far. He tells me they are easy with a Milwaukee 7 1/4" battery circular saw with a Diablo brand 56 tooth carbide tipped blade. He also tells me the trick is to cut them 90% through and leave a little bit on the back side of the aluminum pole to act as a hinge to direct the camera the way you want it to fall. Takes 6-8 seconds to chop through and the circular saw makes less noise than a reciprocating saw does.
