Climate change has put the Colorado River in a constant state of drought. This is a vital waterway for the Southwest, especially California. We need a mega project to build a water pipeline from the Great Lakes to save the most important region in the US. Time is running out, but it can get done!

Experts give it less than 10 more years until the water level in lake mead reaches dead pool. There is no recovery from that. We need to move mountains to save the most important reservoir in the country.

North America is wedge-shaped with the thick end at California and the west coast.
So you would need to pump water uphill across the continent.
Plus do you really want 80 million people in California? The main thing limiting growth of population there is water supply.

Southwest of USA has a climate cycle of about 400 years with precipitation changing between low and high. Probably an El Nino cycle. The area was settled in a high precipitation period, now it's going low. Local problem.

The Great Lakes Compact is clear on this matter.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Lakes_Compact

You fuckers will waste it on watering your lawns in the desert anyway. Start desalinating soon and you might have a chance, but be less reckless from now on. Save every drop. Shower less. Forgo having pets, plants and children, as you'll need to stretch what little you have. It might be worthwhile to save your own piss for future use. Good luck.

Maybe you guys should chill on the almonds and avacados and shit?

I'm in Florida but this matters to all of us. If the federal government can try to divert water from the Great Lakes to the wasteful, poor managers in the West, then they can determine all of our water rights and we cannot allow that. This is more important that immigration, fun control, etc combined and WILL become a major issue in the coming decades as potable water is depleted.

Growing population, poor government management, more usage by tech/AI/data centers, warming climate and lessening rainfall (naturally or by the shit they spray on us)........this is all going to come to a head, starting with the southwest likely in the next 10 years. Phoenix and Las Vegas especially are going to be ground zero mass casualty events if the power goes out in summer.

And it is going to happen unless there is a huge snowpack in the coming years. The hoover dam produces most of the power for these cities and Lake Mead does not need to be completely depleted for the dam to stop or slow in generating power. If the water flow slows in the dam, it basically becomes useless and can actually be damaged by turbulent, airated water vs the smoot flow of full pressurized water. The dam will stop power production long before the water in Lake Mead gets critically low. The water level in the lake is reapproaching the historic lows achieved in 2022.

Additionally it has been noted that the temperature in Phoenix is increasing annually and that the start of summer high temps is starting earlier every year. The only reason Phoenix exists is air conditioning. If power runs out and ACs shut off, there will be hundreds dying DAILY.

The states need to come up with plans to protect their own citizens. Not our problem

California has already demo started their irresponsible behavior regarding their water by drying up the 2nd largest Fresh water lake in the US by poor water management. Most people have never heard of Tulare Lake.

We can't give the West a chance to affect the Great Lakes. They need to convert every lawn to stone and work on desalination plants, nuclear plants (this will never happen), solar farms and stop importing 3rd workers

>Experts give it less than 10 more years until the water level in lake mead reaches dead pool
When you get older you'll realize that this line here is the same line they've been using for like 200 years to try to manipulate or scare you into doing something by fake time pressure.

They use it for climate change, they use it for oil drilling, they use it for economic policy, hell they used this exact bullshit to justify invading Iran. It never ends, there's never going to be a magic moment where there isn't some fear mongering tactic about what will happen "in just (XX) years if we don't approve this (((Zionist Agenda))) today!"

Stop falling for it. They're just fooling you.

The reason it's drying up is because California has been engaged in aggressive cloud seeding since the 1950s. It's that simple.

California has more than enough water to sustain itself, instead of using the water for the public they privatized water use and large portion is now in the hands of these two jews who waste it growing high water requirement plants like pomegranates and pistachios and almonds.
>Stewart and Lynda Resnick, owners of The Wonderful Company (makers of POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios, and Fiji Water), are the billionaire couple often accused of privatizing California water, notably controlling a 57% stake in the Kern Water Bank. Through this, they manage significant water rights in the San Joaquin Valley and have been criticized for holding water access during droughts.

>California has engaged in aggressive cloud seeding since the 1950s to enhance water supplies and increase snowpack, primarily in the Sierra Nevada and select Southern California watersheds. Local water agencies, utility companies, and districts run these programs, using ground-based generators or aircraft to disperse silver iodide, which can boost precipitation from 4% to 15%.

>Key Aspects of California Cloud Seeding:
>It is used for localized precipitation enhancement (rain and snow) to boost reservoirs and water supply.
>Programs operate on a regular basis during winter storms and are usually suspended during wet years.
>Activities are common in the Sierra Nevada, Tahoe basin, and some Southern California watersheds.
>Studies have suggested a 5-10% increase in snowpack water content in targeted areas.

Gee I wonder why lake Mead is drying up. A real mystery.

I’ll never forget when I was younger living in California and fell for the memes about climate. I had had a Jewish friend who had a pool at his apartment complex in a really nice area, and I said something about “the drought” and without missing a beat he responded “droughts are for peasants” lmfao
