Moving on Taiwan would be a nightmare decision for the US. It's probably the single reason why no move was seriously made elsewhere- NATO knows that Chinese movements are the ace in the hole. Realistically, China knows that the trajectory of world affairs is in its favor and won't do anything though. They can just wait as the twenty year gap turns into a fifty year gap as IQs plummet, crime increases, staglation blows a billion holes across the western economic world, and ennui deepens.
