Abe didn't save Japan; he just put the entire nation's future on a credit card with a variable interest rate.

Your record high Nikkei is just a result of hyper-devaluation.

Now the BoJ is stuck.

If they raise rates to save the Yen, the government goes bankrupt from interest payments. If they don't, the Yen becomes toilet paper.

1. Japan is importing inflation
Japan imports almost all its energy and food. With JPY at 156+, you aren't resurging, you're literally starving your own citizens to pay off Abe's gambling debts.

2. JGB Yields at 2.5%
Your 10 year yields are mooning while your debt is 260% of GDP.
For every 1% increase in interest rates, the interest the Japanese government has to pay increases by tens of trillions of yen.

3. If Japan’s economy actually resurges, the first thing that happens is the Unwinding of the Yen Carry Trade.

Then the financial markets of emerging markets will collapse. Stocks, cryptocurrencies, real estate, and the like will all be liquidated. How is that a positive influence?

Princes of the Yen all over again.

It's not. It's a consumer goods bascet. And it can be twisted any way you want. Just a few percent are attributed to the housing. And if the average house was 100k and was 20 min drive from a city center, in the area with no crime. And now an average house is 2 hours drive and is located a nigeer ghetto, costs 200k, it's only 100% increase. A sourdough bred that cost 1 dollar now in a consumer bascet is a spongy substance for 2 dollars. Etc. It's just a consumer bascet. It doesn't reflect the costs of living in any meaningful way.
