In america, pretty much every single gas station in america will be rolling out 15% ethanol gas unless you pay the premium for super unleaded.

This will destroy your small engines, and you will have to fill up more often for your car.

Once they implement this we are never going back. Just like with the grocery store prices. Thanks trump.
>>
>>534627053
Why is 15% ethanol cornslop so bad? Doesn't it help our farmers? BTW, how will our farmers grow their crops with no fertilizer?
>>
>>534627282
Corn is subsidized by taxpayers to make turning corn into ethanol fuel viable. It was only introduced to destroy old rubber seals in old cars, so youre forced to buy new ones that spy on you.
>>
>>534627282
Eats the car inside out, lower mpg and not to mention your car will eat a field of corn faster than a village of people.

Otherwise it's a stop gap while the oil industry collapses.
>>
>>534627053
But Trump says America is unaffected by closing of the strait and in fact will export more oil and prosper
Total Cloudflare Death btw
>>
>>534627897
>not to mention your car will eat a field of corn faster than a village of people.
Nobody was eating that corn. It's (((subsidized))) precisely because it's too much.
>>534627282
>how will our farmers grow their crops with no fertilizer?
Spray sewage.
That's what it's gonna come down to.
It's either sewage or famine.
Enjoy your poo corn.
>>
My car can't handle the cheap gas only super premium or it hurts the engine.
>>
>>534628233
You can still buy proper fuel
>>
>>534627053
Nah. Trump will probably start insisting that we begin getting favored purchase rates. Why do American oil companies sell oil to American companies at international rates? We should have a set rate that's profitable. Call it $75/barrel. Plenty of margin for our companies to refill our strategic reserve for starters. We refine our own oil too, and it's way easier for them to transport oil across the US than elsewhere. Our own gas should be $2/gallon max.
It's unironically time to start forcing American companies that sell internationally to start benefiting the American people first. There's no reason whatsoever we should pay the same rates as the international market place does when it's our own oil, kek. Fuck that, let's start forcing some people to the table.
None of their success or their profit would be possible without the unique environment the United States has created. They have benefited from our laws and our fucking military protection and in countless other ways. They can swing selling at a reduced margin to domestic customers.
>>
>>534628233
Bullshit. Your car is damaged is your gas station is tainted. Try putting fuel injector cleaner additive in your gas tank.

Premium is only ever required by high compression sports cars, normally with a turbo.
>>
>>534628755
Bullshit.

Ethanol can reduce engine efficiency and increase fuel consumption because it contains less energy per volume than gasoline. Additionally, it may cause corrosion and damage to older engines and fuel systems due to its ability to absorb moisture and pick up contaminants.
>>
>>534628755
My owners manual for a 1994 Toyota recomends 91 octane.
>>
>>534628561
I genuinely dont understand how you believe that fucking idiot is going to do ANYTHING to help you after everything that has happened. You are going to pay more money for lower quality gas, more money for less groceries, and more money for lower quality homes. He has done NOTHING to fix any of this and has only made it worse 1+ year in.
>>
>>534627053
Too bad I drive a mechanical turbo diesel
>>
>>534628561
>trump
>ever allowing his rich buddies to take a hit so the unwashed masses don’t get fucked
Lmao
Did you just wake up from a coma?

>Trump enacts national socialism
Uhhh based?
>>534628755
Or he has a proper tune?
>>
>>534627053
They aren't really
>>
I can no longer afford gasoline because of Trump. I still like him and maga but I would never vote for him again if I had the choice. He's done nothing but made the rich richer and the poor poorer
>>
I'm just going to pay the premium to maximize the longevity of my car that doesn't spy on me.
>>
>>534627053
Why not just go with electric vehicles? At this point they are better than any combustion engine
>>
>>534628561
>time to start forcing American companies that sell internationally to start benefiting the American people first
lmao if you believe that has any chance of happening
>>
>>534629565
>buy electric. Have to deal with charging delays, less effective in cold weather, and you have to replace a. Very expensive battery every so many years.

Or you buy gas and it just works.
>>
>>534627053
i bought a new stick of deodorant today and compared it to my old one. the new one is 2g lighter and slimmer but has the same height as the old one for the same price

everything is getting fucked over

that's highly problematic and antisemitic
>>
I got a couple tiktok videos w\ a guy showing how to extract the ethanol. Apparently it bonds to water... So this old guy dumped ~1 gallon of water into a large jug, then 5gal of gas, and then after it's shaken it seperates and he siphoned out all the water + ethanol.

This move is completely retarded though. We have an ample supply of oil. THe issue seems to be with war in iran, the oil companies simply make more because of the overseas demand. So we're getting fucked from both ends. Our taxes are paying for a "war of choice" and then we're being saddled w\ increased gas prices. I've put $100 in my tank this week after months of $30 fill ups.
>>
>>534629565
Lols.
>>
>>534627053
someone who knows engines well. does this mean that unless you buy the expensive shit you're buying subpar gas that will end up costing you more down the line? how fast does cornslop actually destroy an engine?

>>534627282
farmers are already fucked. this isn't about them it's about padding out the decreasing oil supply. kinda like combining wood cellulose with real food to make more, less good for you food
>>
>>534629565
American electric cars are all 70k and trump banned/tariffed all foreign evs.
>>534629645
Wait until you find out that almost every single grocery store in america is engaging in scale/weight fraud. Seriously, next few times you buy something like meat, weigh it at home and compare it to the weight they claim they sold you.

now how in the hell do rubber seals spy on you anon?
>>
>>534629837
They already add sawdust to plenty of foods to thicken it. Literally. They list it as "natural cellulose" or other such crap
>>
Why not just stop driving?
If you don't drive you don't work if you don't work you aren't feeding into this tyrannical system with tax money.

If you are a trucker or a train operator and you go on strike you strangle the beast.

Even Canada had the balls to do that, and their practically French. Are you telling me that America has no balls
>>
>>534629908
They're*
>>
>>534629892
I'm not disagreeing with you. They already add ethanol to gas too right? It's just a matter of how much and how easy it is to avoid
>>
>>534627053
If Obama never legalized exporting oil to the world market while simultaneously blocking development of oil fields we'd be sitting pretty. Now we have to compete with the world market. Back when I was a teenager gas was literally $1/gallon
>>
>>534629837
If you have a car made post idk 2005? you can run the corn just fine in your lines/seals will be just fine. If you have a pre 2005 car you probably replaced those anyway. The actual issue is that ethanol is less energy dense and 1 gallon of E15 is going to move your car less distance than 1 gallon of ethanol free . This is a scam to make it appear cheaper at the pump when in reality you will just go to the pump more often.
>>
>>534628561
It's actually wild how dumb and naive conservatives are -- especially low-end voter cattle like this one who doesn't understand the logical end conclusions of the ideology and interests he's been pulling the lever for.

The entire fucking point of capitalism is that you don't actually have a nation or national interests. You have owners with vested business interests.
>>
>>534627053
Gas prices. Israel needs your help, and all you can think about is gas prices.
Why are Americans so selfish?
>>
>>534630040
America is more than an open air shopping mall and I'm sick and tired of the right pretending it is, and I'm sick of the left pretending the country doesn't exist as a concept.

We're fucked dude
>>
>>534627053
>This will destroy your small engines
I live someplace where the seasons change. I'm already using premium in my small engines because of the additives.
>and so should everyone else
>>
>>534627053
If you had an oil change done at a repair shop and didn't do it yourself for the past 15 years then your car is already fucked because synthetic oil (which is what they'll put in your car) destroys seals and actively wears down gears when cooled.
>>
>>534627053
when are we going to admit that car-centric city design was a mistake?
>go into debt to buy a car so you can live
>must consent to stops by the state in your vehicle (this does not apply if you're walking)
>president starts war without consent of the people
>oil prices surge
>E-15 rolled out
>destroys your car
>forced to choose between homelessness or being spied on and going further into debt
>but hey, at least i'm not some europoor or bug "walking" to the market LMAO
>>
>>534629885
Well they can dive underwater and they’re pretty quiet, I think thw rubber kind especially has some kind of longer period of time that they can remain submerged
>>
>>534630320
Why is underwater one word it's literally two words but then people put it together as underwater you would think it would be under water.
>>
>>534630032
>pay more money for a gallon of gas
>also get less gas per gallon
king migger did say he was going to make big oil loads of money so i guess this shitshow tracks. it's tiresome
>>
>>534629631
My Tesla gets the equivalent to 12 cents a gallon,, charging it for 400 miles adds only $21 to might power bill and has not ever broken down in 4 years.

Not sure where the meme about electrics is unreliable came from, I guess it's misinformation from Detroit.

Things are fucking solid. At least Tesla's are. Highly would recommend now especially mated with the solar. Never have to change oil or spark plugs or filters. Biggest cost is going through tires every 6 months
>>
>>534629090
they're looting America and selling off the rest for parts
>>
>>534628561
>Force homeland companies to sell at a loss in the US
>They just move their refineries to China for cheaper labor and higher sell price
>Theyll still have the contracts to keep mining the oil from the US anyway.
Sometimes I wonder if people on here are really this stupid or if it's just bait.
>>
>>534630380
Well why would you “ove-in” the cat when you could just ove-out hot eat the cat?
>>
>>534630421
I'm not saying they're unreliable. I'm saying I can't make the trip from my house to my grandparents house a state away. The length of trip would go from 6 he driving plus 30 min for one stop to 6 hour driving and 1-1.5 hour stop. Plenty of other trips get more annoying with an electric car. I have to drive to another state a few times a year for work. That 4-5 hour drive would easily have an extra hour of charging. Each way likely. I'd have to remember to plug it in I'd have to change an expensive battery eventually or the car is bricked.

Or I get a normal car and it just works and I'll never, not one time, have to wait for a recharge
>>
>>534630253
America would never be small enough for this to work. Sorry dude I know youre autistic and like trains, but this is america.
We also saw how WW2 strategic bombing effected the population and industry so we spread it out. This was further affirmed by the nuclear hits on Japan
>>534630406
Yeah but if they dont add the E15 it will be even more expensive!!!!
They are banking on this being over fast enough to dodge E15 prices skyrocketing as well
>Corn comes from ground
>Corn needs fertilizer
>Fertilizer comes from urea in gulf or russia
>Diesel needed to get corn out of ground
Whoops!
>>
>>534630421
>99% plastic tech
>1% car
That car is driving you. I prefer to be the one in control since im not a tiktok brainwashed normie.
>>
>>534630825
Well...until the gas station doesn't have gas. Which is possible as we head into late summer.
>>
>>534630825
I'll agree. You have to plan your charges ahead but it's way worth getting an electric for 90% of your driving and just having a throwaway ,2008 civic for other shit
>>
>>534630253
Chinks don't walk they all have EV bikes scooters and cars now. We're unironically living worse lives then bugmen and their sewer oil.
>>
>>534631042
Chink EVs are so good they banned them. Introducing them would be the end of our auto industry. Ford dissected a few of them and were shocked with the simplicity and quality...but that's not a coincidence, companies like BYD have been sniping retired engineers for years from companies like Mazda, Toyota and Volkswagen and telling them to go nuts and not worry about cost.

The rest of the world gets to enjoy them tho.
>>
>>534631238
I don't mind some protectionism for healthy well run companies. Ford and GMC are literally retarded. I hope they fail.
>>
>>534630833
>They are banking on this being over fast enough to dodge E15 prices skyrocketing as well
No way it's going to happen. Zognald is a slave to his master and a slave to his own ego. The only way to have avoided this was to never have started it, or pull out as soon as Iran closed the Strait. But he can't so he didn't and now we will slowly but surely backslide
>>
>>534628561
good idea in theory

other anons are right that big donnie has not done nearly enough for the average american
