Israel is an ugly shithole with trash everywhere. It's partially due to structural racism (Jews can't have trash cans because the Arabs would slip bombs into them where they would be hidden from view). So there are very few trash cans and they are small.You also have security at every hotel but they don't double as receptionists so you better not arrive at your hotel at 4am or they won't let you in until several hours later.
