If you wanted more of something on your sandwich you could just ask for it and they would put it on there no charge. When getting towards the end before checking out it was common to make a comment about how the sandwich was so full of toppings the employee making the sandwich would have to smash it together.It really was a good deal back then and they gave you what you wanted. Now it's foreigners who work there and they don't put anything extra on the sandwich without charging you. The price also increased so anyone who can remember what Subway was like back then just stopped going.I think one way Subway could win me over is if they just work the price of extra toppings in to the final price.
