Why is she making this about Drumpf specifically and not the white people of the state who might benefit from it?
>>
>>534644063
Democrats across the country are seething over this ruling. For the first time the dems are noticing that they are actually NOT popular, and were being propped up purely by administrative corruption.
>>
>>534644038
I hate that fat, retarded nigger.

Oh noooooo.

Anyway nobody cares about politicians.

the media is terribly confused on what the VRA was actually for
the VRA existed because blacks had demonstrably far lower voter turnout and participation than whites AND because the south was largely a mono-party democratic system, where southern democrats were able to use party procedure to lock blacks out of the candidate selection process.
The actual crazy thing out of this ruling is it accepts gerrymandering as an OK thing that both parties do and a normal part of our politics instead of displaying a lot of discomfort with it being a thing, despite it literally going back to the 18th century.
we shouldn't accept gerrymandering as good and something needs to be done about it. It's fucking retarded that Massachusetts is 60/40 R/D yet has 100% democratic representatives, and it is equally retarded that the only reason the south wasn't like that is a law that was not intended to serve that purpose.
>>
>>534645839
Massachusetts doesn't have a single red county even anon, that 40% of GOP voters is so diluted across the state that there's no way to redraw the congressional districts in a way where you will end up with a GOP majority one.
>>
Democrats think they're the good guys for being racist against white people, so I love watching them fail because I'm a white person.
>>
I thought this was Bernie Sanders. Now Im disappointed.

Always circulates back to that silly "electoral college" thing we have here. Where it's not an actual "direct democracy" that everyone wishes he have. but instead it's a system of voting districts that have their own semi-autonomous legislation and law enforcement. Some districts get so big they have to split them into subdistricts. And like >>534647491 said, sometimes population density does not play out in the favor of one particular party, allowing for some pretty one sided maps.

Those raced based districts across the country were just the dems breaking the rules in their favor in red states, and crying foul if anyone ever complained.
>>
>>534647491
lies they could have a representitive that is republican and has a 4/10 vote rate

so 60% wouldn't be the entire district
just a representitive that is the 60% and another that is 40%
>>
>>534648204
Voting power should be throttled over a certain population density to make it fair.
>>
>>534645839
New England, California, and many other democrat states have been gerrymandering for a long time.
>>
Not only is there no evidence Trump is a racist or homophobe, there's evidence to the contrary. Yet even intelligent, well-educated people buy those lies. Mind-boggling.
>>
>>534652435
Your mind is boggled you go to mental hopsital
>>
>>534644038
Republicans can only cheat because their polices are disastrous and no one likes them
>>
>>534644038
That map looks like a sideshot of homer Simpsons face
>>
>>534648204
voting districts mean nothing, they do not have any kind of autonomy or consistent legislation, as districts almost always cross multiple city and county borders. all a district votes for is their representative to congress, who has 0 influence on local laws. Someone needs to spend some time on civics education.

The way to solve this is proportional representation but in the same way gerrymandering has been a part of our system since the 18th century without being acknowledged as tolerable, we still buy into the fiction that parties are bad and we can't have a political system that accepts them as a core reality.
>>
>>534648204
No one except for libtards and niggers want a direct democracy. And libtards and niggers want one because they can rig elections easier that way.
>>
>>534652766
Are u seeing any shadow people
>>
>>534649818
That makes it less fair. Why should my vote count for less than yours just because I live in an area with higher population density?
>>
>>534644038
>Even though our opponents are absolutely abhorrent, Trump has fucked up so badly that we need to cheat to stay relevant
wow miggers this is some wild shit
>>
>>534644038
Ironically I think this will lead to Dems largely being represented more by progressives soon. The black caucus is a huge stable of the Biden/Obama era centrists. As they get removed and there’s less black Dems, you’ll see more like Graham Planter
>>
>>534654709
What's to stop me from just filling a building or an entire city full of people who all vote the same?
