Zoomers will never understand how cool the western 90's really was. Nobody was fighting over what some fat politicians said, clean not busy streets, most people were nice, could find a job, apply today can start the next day. Good movies. Affordable homes. I miss it old fag bros I miss it so much.

Now here's the real question:
When did bumpers become a scam?
What was the last car with a bumper that actually had a working protective function? Probably was in the 1970s some time, because all the 80s cars I have seen had at most this little rubber thing that wasn't even properly mounted, so any sort of impact damaged the underlying structure.
In a way I'm glad they stopped this pathetic pretense and just put a piece of plastic on the front that gets crushed.

This right here. If you were a millennial growing up in the 1990s, you got to enjoy the amazing golden years of American neoliberalism, that Bill Clinton era where all the Reagan-era money hadn't been spent yet. Wages were up so your parents had more money, but the prices weren't through the roof just yet. If you're a zoomer like me, you were born too late to enjoy the good times of neoliberalism, and came into the world just in time for the managed decline.
The way I always remember it is McDonalds used to have gamecube controllers where you as a kid could play video games while eating your Happy meal. Millennials got to play on those things, but by the time the older zoomers like me came around, the controllers had been ripped off or broken, or the machine itself was unplugged. By the time the younger zoomers came around, the machines had been removed entirely and the entire McDonalds was redesigned to be a shitty gray block.
Millennials got to play on those machines, but older zoomers like me never got to play on them because they were already broken by the time we could play on them. We knew there was something glorious once upon a time, but we never got to enjoy it. Meanwhile, younger zoomers and now gen alpha never even knew it existed.

I feel for you guys 9/11 sucked but life was still pretty good until the recession. I knew a lot of families that never recovered and then after the jews flooded the country with opiods it was game over opportunity wise for a big portion of the country. I cant even imagine growing up as a child during covid, but maybe they dumbed down society to a degree that they couldn't even realize how damaging it was on them. Things suck now, I'm just trying to insulate myself as much as possible from everything. I used to do lots of drugs to cope but realized they'll just keep me surrounded by the societal decay.

>>
Road and Track, March 1995. US vs Europe vs Japan, tuner car edition. I was on a road trip with a friend and wanted something to read. I assumed the US would destroy everyone, only to find out about HKS, Trust, Veilside, etc. The Japanese cars were far and away the fastest with a GTR covering the 1/4 mile in 9.6 or some such absurdity. The author coped about some of the Japanese cars just being thinly veiled racecars, but I knew what I wanted. Fast and the Furious dropped 6 yrs later and made it gay, but I still want a GTR. Have the $$ right now but can't justify it with a wife and kids, but maybe in a few years when I retire. The 90's were the end of a great era and I hate that my children will likely never know the degree of freedom we had.

the jew world order kicked off was when the jews tricked "the greatest generation" into thinking that it was acceptable to be forced at gunpoint to be rounded up and sent off to wage war against their ancestral homelands.

The 90s was just the tail end of the glory days where they were trying to keep whites happy before the demographic bomb became noticeable

That doesn't make a bit of sense. If you're not blinding them in the middle of the night with low-beam, you're not going to blind them at dusk. And that also doesn't explain why motorcycles have them even though they can't be used with the engine running.

I've had several 5L Holdens. As much as they sound like the absolute shit with decent extractors and a twin exhaust, they're a shit engine. They have oiling issues. Even under heavy braking on a level road they can drop oil pressure. All to have just marginally more pull than a 6cyl Falcon. And the Falcons, they were just a piece of shit car.

At least here in the US I'd say it's about a 50/50 split between zoomers who are completely hopeless lost causes and those who would happily burn down social media and most of the internet and modern digital society. A lot of the ones in the second group catch shit for being into vintage computers, old games, or whatever but I think they're largely sincere about it. There's a nearby high school with a thriving ham radio club, of all things. They seem to really like oddball shit like that. I bet a film photography/darkroom club would do really well with them too.

The generational cohorts were developed by boomers. They’re most often used to insult and degrade your fellow countrymen. Lots of finger pointing. The younger people have bought fully into this. They do not realize that the generation after them will see them as faggots, trannies and nigger brained wiggers. If we were born in the boomer generation we would be booming it up. If the boomer generation is the worst generation then what does that say about the so called greatest generation. According to generational theory each cohort encompasses 15 years, but the rapid technological change makes these groups unnecessary.
Id prefer to go back to the older model, the one that was used prior to the MSM and academia spreading generational D+C: elderly people, the middle aged, young adults and kids.

We had a mom and pop rental store where the pop would nearly come to blows with us for returning Playstation games late. I was like 14 and had to talk to the cops about a late return after an argument with the owner when me and my brother tried to rent FF7 and they didnt have it because "you fuckers and your friends don't return them on time. My dad told the cop to fuck off in no uncertain terms. We got water ice next door. Pure 90s kino.

Young people always set themselves upon their elders who are coming to terms with mortality and can become adversarial towards the youth taking for granted what can't be reclaimed.
Its a tale as old as time.

The only good looking falcons were the coupes in the 70's and they (as they say) mogged the contemporary Mustangs IMO. The last gen Fords looked like they were trying to be a Jaguar or some shit. I don't like any modern Holden either.

I had a 1993 Z32 TT myself, it was amazing even though some drag strip fool put to much boost on it without reenforcing the engine. It was in bright red but I always wanted one in white.

The people who owned the local place I usually went to ran a tight ship and kept that place spic and span. No porn section or snacks or anything like that. They sold some pretty damn expensive home theater stuff in addition to rentals so I guess they wanted the place to look professional for that customer base. It was the first place I saw a DVD player and a handful of movies over summer vacation in 1997. They had the Twister DVD playing on a display TV every time I went in there for at least a month or two.

Cars today are so bloated and fat. It doesn't matter if you match the power to weight ratio, you'll never get the zippy drive feeling from modern heavy roadboats.
