How do you guys zazz up your ramen?

I usually add an egg and some turmeric or I slice up a hot dog for the extra protein and flavor. I've never seen anyone suggest the hot dog one but try it sometime, it's bretty good.

Literally everything except namebrand and pre-made slop is still cheap.
Oatmeal, potatoes, bananas, rice, flour, pasta, milk, frozen chicken tenders, etc... so many things are unaffected by price increases. Only if youre buying shit like Oreos, Kraft Mac N Cheese cups, or Ben and Jerrys then youre fucking yourself.
>>
>>534660725
Something like 4 million people were just kicked off of EBT with the new work requirement. Most likely all blacks. I don't think it's out of the question.

Just buy a bottle of caffeine pills. Theyre like 6 to 8 bucks for 100 pills

>Just buy a bottle of caffeine pills. Theyre like 6 to 8 bucks for 100 pills
I know this is better but honestly they hit too fast dude, they dose curve is too spiked. even energy drinks you can taper the caffeine just right.

the alternative is to split it 1/4 or 1/2 and segment (if you want a 100mg or 200mg pill or whatever) but its just not the same as a drink for some reason. trust me I used caffeine pills for years until I realized coffee just had a better user experience.

it's like shrooms vs psilocybin in pill form.

Gallon of milk is $5, Tyson’s is $13, of course grains and bananas are cheap there is an overproduction of bananas and America has a breadbasket region. Tell me how many essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients I receive from oatmeal, potatoes, bananas, rice, flour, and pasta. I promise it’s not enough, anyone here knows eating rice and beans day after day kills your energy level.

3lb bag of tenders is <$10. Thats 220g of protein, so almost 4 days of protein covered for like $3 a day if you just relied on chicken.
Why are you buying Tysons? Anything "name brand" is a ripoff.
Milk where I live is like $3 a gallon unless youre buying some specific brand.

have celiac disease. cant get a loaf of bread or a tiny pizza without paying $10+. there is absolutely no coherent reason why gluten free food costs so much, same as why food that uses sugar or butter instead of corn syrup or seed oil costs 3 times as much. its simply because they can. simply because- fuck you, what choice do you have? you want to eat poison and die early or you want to be poor working like a slave just to afford food and die early anyway? this country is nothing but a giant fucking scam from every direction. everywhere you turn, every single thing you do someone is there, determined to pretend to be your friend, just to fuck you in the ass. and everyone who isnt trying to scam you hates you if you arent able to scam them. if you arent able to create some movie character tier persona and sell them on the idea of you being a fantastic cool and amazing person just to stab them in the back later, they dont want anything to do with you. america is a country of scammers and scammees circlejerking each other to death

a pain to make? you mean you make it from scratch? ive never heard of that. i mean the entire point of bread or pizza is the convenience of it lasting a long time or being quick to make, ie being able to restore glycogen in your muscles quickly instead of starving and getting weaker from a lot of physical exertion
and premade cauliflower pizzas give you less glycogen for the same price as gluten free. they typically are gluten free. i just eat cauliflower with cheese. i have a hunch maybe cauliflower being roasted like that might even cause more advanced glycation end products than grain based pizzas because it kinda got old fast unlike just steamed cauliflower and cheese or regular pizza
>>534663095
>$0.17 an ounce
not bad but half the ounce is probably cellulose which is nutritionally equivalent to sawdust and inhibits absorption of the nutrients from the cheese and prevents it from melting which is why its so cheap
>>534663668
mashed potatoes spoil quick and not getting carbs when needed destroys your muscles unless you barely use them in the first place
and rice is so low in potassium but i have lived on rice and ground beef every day for a year

>7. coffee machine
I did the maths on this and it's only like 30¢ cheaper to make coffee at home than to buy. And this doesn't include the energy you burn to run the coffee maker and the hot water to wash the parts, etc. Ofc, also doesn't include gas & car to go to Horton's, but assuming it's on the way to work or in walking distance, then it's mute.

In short: while making your own coffee is, in the strictly literal sense, cheaper than buying, it's arguably not an appreciable return on investment of your time & effort.
