Average is skewed by outliers. The median individual income is $44,000. For a fairer picture, we can look at metrics for the interquartile range of Americans.

Anyhow, we're doing slightly better than the Europeans, but to pretend all of us are doing hunky dory is a lie
>>
>>534703928
Only including white college educated males 25-34 the median is over $100k
>>
>>534703491
Sounds like mutt cope
Having lived in both, quality of life in Europe is so much better than the US it isn't even close. Especially with kids
Yes you make more money in the US, there's just not much to spend it on
>>
>>534703717
Now add up all the health care costs that Americans pay each year, only to be sicker than everyone else. Is the cost of living and average household debt adjusted for this graph as well?
>>
>>534704170
>health care costs
Why are you recycling these talking points? Your employer pays your healthcare or you write it off
>>
>>534704091
yeah if you manipulate only one side of the equation you can make it say whatever you want, stop acting like a jew

this country was made by and for the white man jose. If you were back in europe youd be even worse off
>>534704482
>What are obese people.
I don’t know any fellow white guy paying health insurance, it is borne entirely by employers or written off on taxes

UBS includes home equity and not pensions, pretty useless list

Oh cool. The US actually dropped below Spain since the 2023 numbers.
Well- I mean... Trump presidency, right?
>>
>>534703491
the average american soldier returning home from europe after ww2 commonly remarked on how poor and shitty it was. So you've come a long way since then but still have a ways to go before you can be considered first world.
>>
>>534703491
When you understand that the EU is a more primitive culture than that of the USA it makes a lot of sense actually.
>>
>>534703491
>heat related deaths
How do you fuck up that badly? Larger portions of the US get hotter than larger portions of the EU.
>>
>>534704881
Outside of the wealthy areas, shit is always broken in Europe. It’s not SEA bad but there’s so much shitty infrastructure in Europe. That was the #1 culture shock thing for me visiting a few European countries

Do europoors really? LMAO

Air conditioning is nonexistent in Europe outside of commercial buildings. When it’s 35C for a week the elderly get heat stroke and die
>>
>>534704170
Significantly less than the increase in taxes to pay for worse systems. There’s a reason that foreigners come here for major surgeries if they can afford it.

I pay just under $1500 in annual premiums. My employer automatically throws $1000 into my HSA. The tax deduction I get from the remaining $3400 to max out my HSA nets me more than the remaining $500 in premiums.

>>534703491
If only prices weren't out of control too.

Hello saaar, Isnt India experiencing a heatwave, maybe check on your family

>Air conditioning is nonexistent in Europe
I know, and that’s pathetic, but that’s another topic.
>35C
That’s only 95. I’m in Iowa, it gets that hot here. Run some fans, drink ice water, open windows overnight. It would be miserable without AC but you aren’t going to fucking die unless you’re an idiot.
