Similar event happened during the early days of covid… that incident, where there was also an outbreak on a cruise ship, seemed to show a fatality rate of around 7% and people lost their shit. Of course it was alll bullshit but the media amplified the scare. What wasn’t stated at the time was that as viruses spread, future variants get weaker, less transmissible, less lethal. So the early outbreak, already not very lethal to begin with, got weaker and weaker as time went on. But the fear… that’s what was used to justify the lock downs, the vax.
